Hi Knithappens and a warm welcome to you. Thank you very much for the info. I live in France so I won't be able to apply but hopefully someone on here in the UK will apply on our behalf. The pack they sent you was amazing, wasn't it? We'd be really interested in hearing about your knitting group; it would be great if you could join us - you'll be assured of a really warm welcome!
Once again, thanks for the info.
Everyone - this looks like a great opportunity for a group like ours, so if anyone wants to apply, please do so.

Hi Knithappens - love your name!
Thank you for thinking of us :j
Well done Shelley - great total.
Hope everyone is OK x0 -
Thankyou ladies.
I love knitting, not the best knitter, but love it non the less. Sadly i have not knitted for years until recently, I kind of gave up anything for mysel while married, but am newly divorced and slowly picking back up all the thins i loved before.
If anyone lives in the failsworth area of Manchester and is interested in the group pm me, it is just a place to meet up with other knitters share skills, and natter, more social than anything else.
Think I will have to join you here.0 -
Not sure whether anyone is near you Knithappens but I'll cross my fingers for you. Good for you finding your feet again after your divorce - it really can't be easy. I find knitting (or crochet more often lately) soothes my mind when it's too busy as long as I keep it simple because I'm not the best knitter either!
It will be lovely to have you here :dance:0 -

Hi Maytaurus - good to hear from you and hope you are feeling better and better as each day comes along. I really hope things look up for you and your family; you've all been through such a lot. Please don't worry about using the 'thanks' button or anything like that; we all just want you to get better so that you enjoy life as you deserve to.
I hope you and your family have a really good week.
Take care

Lovely to see you Maytaurus, and so pleased you're even a little bit better. Your children sound wonderful. Sorry to hear about your parents, it's so hard to get any kind of 'outside' help these days. Love the swear word, now if you could just tell us how to pronounce it.......0

Lovely to see you back Maytaurus, please take it easy as best you can for a while. Sending love and hugs to you and your family.
Welcome knithappens,:hello: thanks for the lets knit link.
Mioliere, love the fingerless gloves, what a nice finish to put a lovely flower on too.
Orkneystar, hope you’re feeling better, this bug seems to be doing the rounds everywhere.
Roaming in the gloaming, love those little curlicues. They’d look nice strung along a chain, maybe for next year though for me!
Shezmit, great total for your sale, I’m hoping to get a few more bits off to you for the next one if I can.
Shazrobo, hope you’re feeling a little better today.
