Orkney Star - he is a proper wee cutie pie, bet he even smells like a wee boy....how many times does he wake up with the impression of a car on his face? I remember that well!
Think I will try some posher wrist warmers - stipes perhaps, oh and the planned red/white and blue thingie is still on track, hasn't gone bottums up just yet.

Happy birthday to your son for sunday mioliere, jury out on brothers injections, see what he's like tomorrow.
prfungi you have my sympathy re side effects of medication, sometimes they can worse than the illness. Hugs to Pamspal, familys can be difficult sometimes.
Orkney Star your little one is gorgeous, as is the scarf.
ISOM what a shame about the felting, all the work you put into it. Let us know how you get on with complaining to Rowan, good luck with it. Juggling furniture, the mind boggles!
Jean those gloves have come really well.
ladykath, my mouse hand gets cold as well, sign of a mispent hour or two I guess.
Love to all xxxx0 -
Kinsey, I am pleased with them as they only took a wee while to knock out, will see how the striped ones go before I tackle anything more adventurous. I am sitting here comparing if one or other of my hands is cold...is it the mouse making them cold or is it the lack of movement?

Hello everyone :hello:
Awwww Thanks for thinking of me :Axxx
I am around but I have been sooo busy it's untrue, shopping, cooking. cleaning, choosing presents then wrapping them for us and MUM, luckily OH did MIL's wrapping up, then there were the card's , cleaning windows, washing nets and all the other stuff they want doing at this time of year. Our's will have to wait as usual;)
Went to DS2 and DIL's on Monday, DGS is sooo cute and is growing so much. We had a lovely time, we are all going on the Santa Steam Special from Kidderminster station on Sunday morning so that should be good, can't wait to see his little face when he see's santa.
I have now done 3 pairs of fingerless gloves and am on the 4th.
Did MUM a pair to match her wrap, MIL has pale blue, Friend has hot pink to match her ripple scarf and I am doing a pair for Dsis to match her green ripple scarf(the one that got me hooked on 'em);)
Met Friend in M&S Birmingham this AM for coffee and toasted teacake... yumm... Then we went shopping to get the last of the presents and special cards. Big mistake  I AM NOT GOING AGAIN ........it was manic and I never got half of what I wanted.
Kathy - love the ripples lovely colours, good idea about a last date for the updates,
Shelley - how did the stall go today??? hope you made "load's a dosh"
Orkney - what a gorgeous little munchkin xx
Jean - love the fingerless gloves, nice colour too they will match Orkney's scarf.
 May, Lorna and all MIA's I hope you are all feeling ok xx
ladykath - A BIG WELCOME TO YOU :T glad you decided to join us, you will soon be as mad as the rest of them, hiding your stash in every available nook and cranny....not me of course.....I don't do things like that, much :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm with you on the cold mouse hand, mine is frozen as we speak
Glad the party went well
Better go the drumstick's are ready so are the wedges and beans
Enjoy the rest of your evening's all

ta seakay...its in again but suspect its that I'm buying the wrong wool as some (felting kit wool) have done well on a low wash but two (typically larger items!) havent...looked at the wash balls and eek on price but did find one for £1.20 on ebay so worth a look and could resort to wet felting - all I need is a net curtain for some friction! It does get messy though...
lol re juggling furniture kinsey! It was more moving it around so that I have space for a teeny weeny tree! One must have a tree - even when living in one room! For those that want to make an alcoholic christmassy version of limoncello as gift - heres a recipe for you (looks yummy and I will report back);

I tend to ask cafes that sell luscombe drinks or the like if they have spare bottles - alternatively you can get them in ikea but ya have to pay!
Hugs pfungi...do feel for you with mum as emotionally exhausting and hard being patient all the time...trying to get mine to go for some testing re memory - managed to gently persuade her to go to gp and he asked a few questions and said she was fine grrrr...
Love the piccy o/s - a boy can never have too many cars!! Like us with shoes, wool, handbags...
Done one glove and just about to cast on no2! hugs them that need em! back later!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Jean.........or it the draught that hits the mouse spot?
ISOM of course one has to have a tree, Isoke will love it.
Pippa the santa express sounds great, have fun.0 -
Well said Jaqui :T
Lovely pics on here lately - well done everyone.
Must crack on with scarf.
BTW, cupboard I started "sorting" on day off on Monday is still half all over the floor - can't be fussed by the time I've got home from work, fed everyone etc..:(. Good job I've never signed up to the flylady thread - they'd sack me! Or maybe I should? Is anyone here a flylady?
Pam, gives Pamspal a squeeze from us.
Take care all x0 -

Hi k2tog, I am a 'Flylady', not a very succesful one but I must admit the daily tasks to tend to focus you on one room a day. which does mean that you do not get overwhelmed, you just do a little at a time or as we say 'baby steps'. It's very much like this site a very supportive thread & great banter :rotfl: Please come along and join us.
Knitting wise I am in the process of knitting a snowman, father christmas has been knitted but needs sewing up (I really do not like doing that).
Hugs to everyone in need & calming vibes to all those beginning to panic that their knitting/crochet christmas pressies are not been completed quickly enough!!
Hugs to Maytaurus, so nice to see that you are on the road to recovery, take care xx'Money and good health is coming easily to Flypeople'0 -
Hi SGT :hello:
I think I could do with some focus. I might pop along and have a look. There always seems to be MESS here - a ton of tidying before I can even get to the cleaning! I will definitely have a look at flylady over the weekend as I really don't want to be surrounded by mess for Christmas. Just doing another ruffly scarf as a pressie and then must get to bed at a reasonable hour tonight so I have some energy to consider flying with!
Night!0
