no time to start the PROPER squiggley scarf just yet, so here is the photo of the TRIAL just finished - really should stop all the messing around and get on with some serious work - like more knitted snowmen! Back later.
xx
OH PIPPAS what a dilema you and Chalky have really set the cat among the pidgeons - you go and put two colours onto one scarf I shall be wandering around all afternoon wondering if I need to buy to contrasting or two toning colours for the actual scarf and MOILIERE I am sure I asked you not to post any more links to lovely things I HAVE NO TIME LEFT, KINSEY -your post to Mrs Moneypenny just reminded me I need to make a pair of fingerless gloves for my neighbouring farmers wife so her hands stay warm when she gets the milking job so I am now applying for a possition on the night shift in the hope that I can fit in all the things I want to get made. I now need to pull the plugs on the computer in order to get some cleaning done (YUK) or I shall sit here all day surfing - Back sometimeThe Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾

How wonderful to see Maytaurus back! I’m amazed you even have time to come on here May, with all the things going on in your life. Please take it as easy as you can and get fully better soon.
Salome, you’re so busy with so many things, sending gentle thoughts to you and your family.
Mioliere, you’ve done it now. I was just thinking about trying a ruffle scarf, even though I’m not really a crocheter, and then you post that link with millions of patterns on! There must be at least 10 things I want to do now and I’ve only had a quick look. That’s the afternoon gone then. Ah well, the ironing can wait.:j
Chalky, your ripple blanket looks amazing, that’s another thing I’ll get round to making soon.
Shelley, been trying to do a couple of angels for you, but I’m hopeless with dpn’s, so made up a pattern of my own and I’m tweaking it now.
ISOM, thank you for the picture of the card, it was lovely of you to think of it.
I didn’t get any wool yesterday, so I’m going to try Fleetwood market next week, they’re bound to have the wool I want, the stall’s enormous.:T
Hugs to all who need them
Lisa

Pippa - your scarf is wonderful; I love the colour combination.
Jean - your 'trial squiggly' is great. The next time I find a link to more patterns, I'll warn you first!
It's amazing how the ruffley sqiggly scarves have taken off, but they really do make perfect pressies and are a great way of making a dent in the stash.
Salome - what a shame the dentist was running late but, if it gives you more time with the girl you mentor, perhaps it was meant to be. I admire you for mentoring, especially as your life is already pretty full, isn't it?
Well, I've been alternating between typing for my online work (yawn) and ruffling another scarf (much more rewarding). Now it's time for a cuppa, I think.

So lovely to see such wonderful things on here and I can feel everything whizzing around as ideas and MORE links come to the fore. Presents, Christmas etc etc.
Pippa [/B]Your scarf is beautiful. I think 2 colours look beautiful especially if it is a bit wider -- using trebles would help. But my Doh actually meant making 2 scarves and then intertwining them!!!! He is learning to crochet as we speak!!! Actually bless him he is mopping as the plasterer has just left after another day fitting the fire!!
Market this morning !!! Lovely, just lovely.
Right I am off to spend some quality time with
Doh actually as I seem to have spent ages "hooking!",crafting and blogging of late !
So sleep well everyone and lots and lots of gentle thoughts to one and all xTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Just popping on quickly to say hello to May :j:j:j so glad you are back with us. Please try and take it easy until you are back to full Maytaurus strength.0

Now I have a whole evening to do some sewing up, and hopefully, at least, get the next pair of slipper socks cast on.
