Nice to see you back May, you have been a wonderful contributor to this thread while I have been here. Wishing you a speedy recovery and please look ater your lovely self!
I have nothing to report knitting wise, so this will be a short post, in fact the charity stuff is really on hold just now with Christmas coming up!
As for that 'other thing' Kathy and Pam are correct, we can all make up our own minds (I won't be posting anything else on here regarding my own feelings, or by PM either)- just everyone remember that people can be manipulative/dishonest even over the internet and trusting your gut instinct is the only way to go! The other thing regarding charities is that I tend to look for the registered number, as that gives me more confidence that something is genuine.
I have not been put off posting but somehow it will take a wee while to feel the same again(mainly due to the fact that someone, whoever it was, was clearly willing to bend the truth!).....perhaps I am naive that people would always be honest- who knows ?
Hope everyone else is well and that you all continue to encourage each other in your knitting ventures.

well, thats just made my day, so I will be on a permanent high today. Take your time and catch up with yourself.
Oh and how did you know I needed parcel labels? Was it the crystal balls? or some other method of devine intervention?
Feel a couple of snowmen coming on, so will rush off and do them, back later.

Shelley- were those button vent hats any use for you ? I know some places don't take them but I presume somewhere on your list (I see a huge list on your blog) will take them ok ? Perhaps I will stick to flat hats in the future ? The small vent ones are nice to knit though! Despite everything that has been said I still hope the stuff I had sent is off use to someone somewhere!
Right better see what DS wants.

Maytaurus it's lovely to see you. Your story made me weep, the next time any of my family start I'm going to tell them to read your and Salome's posts, and to grow up. I wish I lived near you so I could help. We had our problems with parents but not being only1 child helped spread the load, sometimes. Also it was a few years ago so health service wasn't so overcrowded as it is now. Let's hope they start listening to you and give you some help. It sounds like your children are a good help. Take care of yourself as much as you can, you've been sorely missed.
Much love xxxx0
