  • OK you have me wondering if I could do the crochet squiggley neck scarf..
    1 Is it easy?
2 Does anyone have an ENGLISH version of the pattern?
3 If I screw up will you all laugh at my attempt?

I have to do something to stop the snowman invasion in this little part of Brittany.
Help please....another half a dozen done today, they are going to the school tomorrow for the winter sale.

Jean - the squiggley scarf is just about the easiest crochet pattern to do with the added bonus of producing such a wonderful result you'll be amazed! You could always make tiny ones for all those snowmen! Here's a useful chart that someone (it may have been Pam - sorry, I've forgotten) posted recently that gives the UK equivalent of US crochet terms, amongst other great info. http://www.kcgtrading.com/conversioncharts.html

By the way, everyone, I promise the update will be posted tomorrow!

    Row 4:

Does the squiggley scarf equate to ruffle?

Gosh those posts crossed---- I am going to follow Kathy with my next one with softer wool and do it with trebles and a loose chain to begin with helps. I used a base of 160 chains. My Doh came up with a lovely idea and thought of doing 2 in different colours and intertwining the ruffles
