I don't see a need for anyone to leave. It is an unfortunate part of the internet that things hang around forever and sometimes there is little that can be done about it.
I came across this link some time ago and mentioned it to Shelley via PM as I didn't know if she was aware of it so I can understand OS mentioning it. I am happy with Shelley's explanation and have continued to knit for preemiesuk but I guess it is for everyone to decide how they feel. I hope this sorts itself out very quickly as this thread is too nice and does too much good to be abandoned.

With hindsight perhaps I should have PM'd Shelley  but I did as I felt right. I still don't see why people /were wanting to say such things ???!!!:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I think it was Mrs Moneypenny who described my pictures as Beautifully Bonkers so here is another one. The Sock Monkey is a Christmas gift to 1 of the children in the Orphanage over here and the Teddy is a resident in the house!!

If you are feeling fragile ,or sad and poorly very gentle thoughts and love to all.

No, 'twas me. I'm the rude one :p

ETA: I don't mean it in a rude way. Some of my favourite people are bonkers :D

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been on here this afternoon but I've just read the last few posts and find them very saddening for such a lovely thread.

Shelley - please don't think of leaving. Every single one of us is a valuable member of our great little community and, between us all, we must have made the world of difference in the lives of hundreds of people and their loved ones.

Sadly, as this thread has discovered, there are unpleasant rumours and comments on other forums and, equally sadly, it's not possible to 'un-say' what's been said once it's in print, but I think it would be a good idea to lay this matter to rest. People can make their own minds up about where to send their items, but the important thing is to go on helping those who need us more than we could even need them.

I hope you all have a lovely evening and that we can start tomorrow in our usual happy way.
