Pippa.S the pattern I used was a Sirdar Snowflake Chunky pattern 2200 It has slipper socks, little slip on slippers and dolly shoe type slippers . Haven't attempted any of the slippers yet. Will do though. Need to have quiet to concentrate, not much hope of that in my house lol!! The slipper socks are very easy to knit, and quite quick to make :-)
Hopefully will get the baby jacket finnished this week. I'm on the last sleeve, then I have a collar to do, sew it up and that's it :-) Oh and put the buttons on.
Hope everyone who's not feeling too well at the moment soon gets better.
If any of you are living in Cumbria , I hope you haven't been too badly affected by the horrendous rain you've been having your way. Would just like you to know that we're thinking of you all xx
ISOM your kitty is lovely :-)
Have a great day and enjoy any knitting you do :-)

    Afternoon all
cold but mainly dry, bit of drizzle earlier but has stopped now.

PTB - I ordered some of the Pampas last night from Cucumber Patch thanks for posting the links :T
Salome - I was having a look through some old patterns MIL and Mum gave me ages ago, and guess what I found, yep... slipper socks in crochet, so I will have to try them out. Going into the Sirdar site later and if the pattern is in there will order it, I am getting as many patterns as I have wool now ;):rotfl:
ISOM - have you seen the plastic boxes in Poundland? I bought a couple a few weeks ago they are nice and square and deep enough for 100g ball to stand up in they hold about 9 balls, and lids are quite a tight fit, so should be isoke proof ;)

Off to see Jan and her OH later he came out of hospital yesterday, and just has to wait for the results of his tests now, hope things go ok for him.

Its OH's snooker night so I plan a night on the sofa with my crochet tonight, almost done Mums wrap and have another ruffle scarf needing finishing off also a santa in progress, so I have plenty to keep me going.

Off for a :coffee:now have good days all

It's called a wheelchair wrap, does'nt go in the wheelchair much (too stuborn) but she sits up in bed reading and her shoulders get a bit cold so I thought it would be ideal.
Yes of course I'll post a pic, not finished yet though but that's ok is'nt it?
    I'll do it tomorrow :D
