I think a card is a great idea, ISOM, but, sadly, I don't have Maytaurus's address. Jean - would you mind asking Russell when he next emails? It would be lovely to send a card from all of us.

I must go and look at LH - hopefully, my poppies have arrived safely.

Orkney - I have had exactly the same symptoms as you. I'm totally fed up with blowing my nose - it's sore, and so are my hands from constantly washing them. I've run out of hand gel so that will be on my next shopping list. I'm still wilting as the afternoon goes on, too. I shall be so glad when I really am over it. Hope yours goes soon.

Well, I'm just about to have a shower then I will settle down and crochet for a while.

By the way, Jean, thanks for the hat instructions. I shall give them a go - I have lots of Aran wool to use up.

Right, before my shower, I shall go and upload the update to my blog. Once again, thanks to Jean for all her time and trouble.

Hope you all have a great evening.

Crikey--- I am never first on here But I am so Good morning to everybody

Kinsey - You seem so lovely.

I have to do all my charity work here all winter and then bring it home in the Sunshine Bus at the beginning of the summer when we come home so no help in the short term. Sorry Shelley

Actually I have been totally embroiled with lapacuddlyghans and new baby projects but will get back to the charity things soon. Just going to start wristwarmers as Attic 24 for the girls for Christmas

We go gardening on Tuesdays so must close with lots of love to all.
Try and do a good deed every day.

Shazrobo and Orkeystar, hope you're both feeling better today.
Chalky, I really like the name banner you've done, might do a NOEL one for Christmas.

  • I now have the address for may. Are people happy if I send a card - just concious that I am a relative newcomer...if peole are haooy for me to do it could you all post messages here (not too long as there are quite a few of us!!) and I'll sort a card out and get it sent off...Are people ok if I set a deadline of Friday for comments?
As for the hat ----ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its rubbish and I've done sommat wrong (decreased to fast I think) and its gone from beret to pointy! Havent the will to redo it so will start again on a new pattern...that'll teach me for being impatient!! Will do mitts first though!
