Thank you moilere :-) Much appreciated.

Hugs to everyone with loved ones not well, it's so hard isn't it?
It's nice to have some sunshine today, and great not to get soaked going to church lol. It's beginning to cloud over now, so looks the sunshine isn't going to last much longer :-(
Didn't get my second sock finished yesterday. Had visitors so didn't get any knitting done. Dinner today was easy because we had left overs from yesterday, so it was a treat to come home from church and to have to only heat stuff up in the microwave, and not have to cook :-)
Have a blessed and prosperous day all of you :-)

  • Hello

Back from my tiny break in the sun and apart from having money stolen from the apartment it was lovely. :cool2:

While I was away my DD2, who has only recently learned how to knit properly and follow a pattern, has done the following to add to my totals:

    1 cardi
    1 hat
    1 pair bootees

My mum is still on holiday.

I'll get a parcel off to Shezmit this week.

Right, now to read a week's worth of posts.

lovely posts as always..hope poorlies/lurkers/sad people ok. Had a good cry (well sob actually) earlier in the week and it did the word of good - can highly reccomend it! Some knitting done o the )&^%$!!! hat which is never ending and am going to adapt pattern and decrease early or it will be half way down her back lol! No charity kntting done but its knitting group next sat...
Prayers for the op F2; lovely post chalky and I agree...funny how we share so much with people we dont know, although I have been blessed to have three local MSE'ers near me...seakay, AP and weezl...all of whom are a blessing! If I ever meet Martin the marvellous I'll hug him just for that...and for Ferg - who was the frugal foetus on the 50p thread but now a gorgeous lump of huggy babyness who was not happy that I made him work to get his toy this afternoon! Apparently Weezl mummy is much nicer and hands them over!!! Mean aunty ISOM makes him work for it!
Isoke has been assisting with the hat this eve...little tiger managed to pilf the wool without me noticing for a while...by the time I caught her and the ball of trailing wool it was round and under chair, accross sitting room and wrapped around her tummy! Will put batteries in camera to capture next snatch and grab moment - shes a bit too good at it for my linking! Is louis the same miol? Stop being so hard on yourself re being poorly - its just Gods way of telling you to STOP! Horrible to have money pinched AP - did you get a tan or at least some sun...been hcucking it down here!
    hugs all...

Well done to DD2, your stash is no longer safe.

ISOM you cheer me up with Isoke's antics.

F1 Widow hope you're as well as can be expected.

    Love to all. xxx

Well, as you'll see from the time, I am up early having barely got any sleep last night due to coughing and sneezing - annoying because I don't feel ill any more. It seems that as soon as I lie down, I start feeling congested. I'm more or less fine during the day! I will be needing a snooze round about breakfast time!

Anyway, I'll do another post later on but this one is to tell you about Maytaurus; I know you have all been worried about her. She and Jean have been keeping in touch regularly by email and yesterday Jean received an email from Maytaurus's son, Russell, to say that she is unwell and is now in hospital. This is all we know at the moment but Jean will keep us informed as and when she hears more from Russell. It is worrying news and I know you will all be concerned about her. I hope that our collective thoughts, prayers and good wishes will help her to recover quickly. She is a valuable member of our lovely group and has been sorely missed.

Thanks, Jean, for letting us know; it's good to know that you are in touch with Maytaurus's family. When you next email Russell, please pass on all our (((((((hugs)))))))))) and good wishes.
