OOOeeeee, we did not get up until 10.10 am this morning (I had a short comfort break at 7 when DH got up)....DS was happy in cot, playing with doddies (he thinks all teddies are doddies since we Christened one of them Curly Doddy!).......good job he was wearing a nappy (wearing at night only now and cutting them out altogether soon!). Must knit today, and hoping for a quiet one after all the stress of the last two days (did I tell you all we could not get in the house yesterday, had to get the lock broken and a new one fixed ? all with DS saying pee pee pee pee!)......hope the rest of you are ok and Kathy that you're feeling better soon!

    Morning all,
Just a quick one from me today as its my birthday we are out soon, but I had to watch the Armistice Service first.

Just thought you might like to know I was born on 11.11.1945 in the 2 minutes silence now that was a long time ago, but there's life in the old dog yet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Off out for Lunch, I have had so many cards this year and lots of pressys, 3 large vases full of flowers, a lovely Rowan Knitting book "Little Luxury Knits" its called from DS2,DIL and from DGS I had a BIG box of Thorntons chocs. mmm yummm
DSis bought me "The Thrifty Kitchen" have already had a scan through it, cant wait to start on some of the recipes.
I am so lucky and thankful for such a lovely family and caring friends.

I still have'nt got round to posting my updates for this week, sorry Kathy :o hope you feel better soon and all the rest of the poorly's,

OH is ready to go so better get a wriggle on

  • Morning all,

I feel better today as it hasn't rained for a whole day and the sun has just popped out, rain is forecast for the rest of the week mind.

ISOM- Lol, my dh is from Cardiff and we used to live in Pembrokeshire the rain used to come at you sideways there. You would think I'd be used to the rain, I do seem to be getting worse as I get older tho. hope all well at the dentist.:D

Shaz - You must be so proud of your son, it's nice to hear and makes me feel hopeful for my ds2, he also has learning disabilities and it helps to know they do progress in thier own way and that the support is there for them.

I bought some of the wilko's wool a week or so ago, I remember it being dearer last year too. Knit's up quite nice tho. I did notice yesterday that my local B&M stores have got back their wool at 89p 100g balls to I think, I did resist buying some this time as I have so much piled everywhere for various different projects, I keep telling dh it's insulating the house for the winter.(not sure he believe's me.):rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, kettle is calling, have a good day all. ((Hugs)) to everyone.x
