Thanks Mrs MP that's really kind, but have just had a brainwave (someone call a doctor ) I will have a look on their website when I get a chance later.
Only Girl, I feel just like you with the rain. Tired of the dreary weather already and it's only November *shudders*

    Afternoon hope everyone is ok.
I started making some little stockings yesterday but decided today I'll double it and attempt some nice big ones.
But a parcel has been delivered and it has the catalouge number on the side, I think it's my Xmas present from my fiance and I REALLY want to look!

    Hi all,

Shelley, glad Aaron's heel is better, at least he can go to school now.
Onlygirl, I don't like rain either, shall we all come round with cake and you can brew up for us?
Salome, hope your 12yr old is feeling better today.
Isom, good luck with the dentist tomorrow, that's something most people dread. (including me!)
Maytaurus, hope you're ok, we miss your lovely posts.
Mrs MP, I bought a DK from Wilkinsons last week and I noticed they were cheaper than last year, they were £1.09.
K2tog, they didn't have any fluffy/furry wool either, might not have put it out yet.
Kinsey, lucky you. I love mohair yarn, but rarely ever find it in charity shops.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out, hugs to everyone

Hi everyone. Lovely surprise for us today as some very dear friends have come on a flying visit from the UK. So lots to catch up with AND my friend kindly bought a ball of Noro felting wool, some lovely buttons and the new Rod Stewart Cd so I am reall happy

Finished all the little birds aka Attic24 and they are really sweet . So I think I wll get back to some Charity knitting now that I have done quite a lot for Christmas.

Hope all is well or getting better and lots of gentle thoughts to anyone feeling a bit,sad alone or down at the moment
Try and do a good deed every day.

Wooohoooo double happiness.......got the car back (£246.55:eek:....actually not too bad because apart from the service and MOT the car never really needs any work done throughout the year and is a 53 plate), and am watching my Killers DVD (loverleeeeeeeeee).
Still knitting the wee preemie cardi and hope to do more tonight so it can be sent off soonish to Shez.
OK, not much else to report, other than hoping you are all ok....May- where are you ?
    xx

Been to Mums today, she asked me to take some wool round as she wants to do some llittle christmas stockings, so I took some dark red and some white fluffy for the tops, (guess who's putting the sequins on)
She started them while I was there, her hands are not being very co-operative but she is determined to do some for the Great-Grandchildren, so she can put them on her tree with some chocolate coins in them.
Salome - your family sounds lovely, a real credit to you :T Never a dull moment in your house I bet, hope 12yr old is feeling better now.
Shelley - good news about Aaron.
Kathy - it does seem to have hung on for a while, hope it clears up soon ,
Pol - have PM'd you thanks
    May - hows things :)
mrs-mp - I got some wool from Wilkinsons a couple of weeks ago that was 97p as well but no furry or eyelash. I remember it being over £1 earlier this year.
    Lyndach - :naughty::naughty::naughty: do not touch:naughty::naughty::naughty:

Out again tonight for a couple ish of a nice chilled Chardonnay at my friends while OH plays snooker.

Better go and get some dinner sorted, enjoy your evenings all

Off to do some knitting, to re-knit all my work I wrongly unpicked last night in a mo, if I can keep my eyes open lol. 12yr been asleep most the day. Has had drinks, and managed to keep most of them down. She hasn't eaten anything. She's flat out on our sofa at the moment. My daughter's MIL was getting rid of a load of knitting books, so they have made their way here. Going to take a look at those in a moment and see what there is :-)
Have a happy knitting night, or whatever night all :-)

    A work in progress :D
