Hi everyone - I've been wilting again, which I seem to do every day as the day goes on. Think this cold is really hanging on for dear life, so I'm sorry I seem to be MIA all the time lately.

I hope to come back renewed in the morning but, for now, I'm having an early night.

    See you all tomorrow.

morning all, feel poorly this morning, think i've caught kathy's cold.
up early tho, as daniel starts his independent travel training today. to get to where he does his motor mechanic course he has to take three buses, til now he has been going on the school mini bus.
as he has learning disabilities life skills are included in his normal school day, eg a maths lesson could be a trip to shops with five pounds to share with a classmate, and between them they have to work out how much they can buy, cookery lesson is then cooking the food they have purchased etc.
today he has to make his own way to bus stop, and a teaching assistent is meeting him there, next week, he has to catch the first bus into town, then meet the teaching assistent, til hopefully next year he is confident to do the whole journey on his own. so proud of him, as he is really starting to grow up.
on the knitting front, yesterday, i sewed up 2 teddys, and 1 jelly baby toy, and also made another teddy from scratch, and started the next.
where are you, may, missign your bright cheery posts
    hugs to all the poorlies

Maytaurus i hope you are just too busy to come in and give us one of your wonderfully cheery posts
went to the choir fashion show last night i brought 2 tops and a M&S dress (their price £35-fashion show price £10:T) along with 2 nice tops for DD for christmas spent a total of £27 i must have got £100 worth;). i was a bit embarrassed that my hat and scarf was still left on the raffle prizes till the final 3 when the announcer said i have a rule now we are down to the dodgy prizes if you win you have to take something you arent allowed to offer a redraw to try and fob it off on someone else:o. oh well at least they werent the last prize to be chosen and it rasied money for the choir.

im hoping to gt a bit more of mums cardi done this morning im still on th second front.

Shelly is leicester royal infirmary maternity unit on your list as my mum in law said last night she was going to knit some baby hats for them? she cant afford to pay postage to send stuff off so will only knit if its local enough for her to take her items. she was going to knit helmets but ive mentioned vet hats might be more useful.
