We haven't set a date yet but I think we're both hoping for May 2012, money and venue permitting.

I'm from SE London/Kent borders so am trying to find a venue which is not going to cost an arm and a leg!! We live fairly near Sundridge Park Manor actually which is where The Wedding House was filmed...obviously not very MSE to choose that as a venue though!

No more news on the planning. Got a wedding photographer coming round on Sat so im hoping he is good and will do us a good deal:)

Still in love with a dress. Does anyone think its too early to get a dress? My only concern about it as well is the dress is from independant retail boutique, so its just a lady by herself. So my concern is what if she goes bust then ive lost my dress. I know it could happen with any bride shop.

Laura im not even going to start looking at wedding dresses until about 12 months before the big day. Only due to the fact that i want to lose half my body weight.

If you were going to look at wedding dresses, just make sure you have wedding insurance just in case anything goes wrong with the company.

No planning by me yet, just the venue booked so far.

I feel like carp at the moment. Got a chest infection and eye infection.:(

Think we get Christmas sorted and then start looking properly in the New Year

Hi ladies! So excited to join you! My boyfriend proposed on Sunday and since then it has been a huge whirlwind. We think date will be either last Sat in May/1st in June.

Not engaged yet, but we have decided we're getting married, and hopefully going to book it for August 9th 2012!
He said it's definitely happening, he just has the plan of engagement in his head and wants it to be perfect, we've practically planned it, just beed to book and buy x

How far are you willing to travel?
