Everything is almost ready - I'm going for some beauty appointments today and tomorrow. The cake is getting done today and tomorrow too. The only issue is a good one - I've lost 1st 5lb since buying my dress, but most of the weight seems to have come off my chest...cue the emergency chicken fillet buying (strapless dress could be a disaster without filling!).
It's all good. How's everyone else - Yellowbug, only 3 days to go!0 -
Getting very excited now so I can't imagine what it's like for those of you doing the deed on Saturday!
Ebay has come good for me in so many ways and after a bit of a dress disaster where I changed my mind about my ebay dress, got an amazing Maggie Sottero from Brides and Gowns in Derby which was a bargainous ex shop sample!
Just need to sell the ebay one now.
The only thing I need to do now is get my eyebrows waxed, pack my suitcase for honeymoon and make our favours / order of services / menus / big table plan. Everything is bought and the computer side of things is done but we just need to compile them!
Hope all going well for people,

I seem to have been rushing around so much I haven't had time to keep up with the forum. Glad everyone is feeling sorted - not long to go for any of us now! I'm off work all of next week so there's time to do the last minute organisation, like reprinting the orders of service, making the flower arrangements for the chapel... otherwise I think the plans are going fine.
Just been makeup shopping, so that's sorted. The bridesmaids dresses are now being adjusted, they were a fraction big in places but that's much easier to get sorted than too small!Live on £11k in 20110 -
I'm married! It all went perfectly yesterday and nothing could have been any better. Good luck to those of you who are still planning...and I hope it's gone well for those who were early in the month.0

I have just less than 2 weeks to go and my list of things to do doesn't seem to be getting any shorter. Every time I tick something off, I then add something else on :rotfl:
Still left to do:
Make table plan (have decided where everyone will sit but have to make a pretty version)
Make candles
Finish ladies' favours
Pick up underwear (has been ordered)
Make appointment for nails
Buy false eyelashes
Decide on first dance
Send in forms to registrar re. vows, readings and photographer details.
It's all getting very close!Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -

I've been doing just the same, though the list finally seems to be getting shorter instead of increasing. We are definitely going to practise dancing tonight, so we don't make too much of a mess of the first dance (live band, covering Madness's 'It must be love'). H2B dances jive and I do salsa, so I think we just need to make sure we're doing the same type of dance at the same time... :rotfl:
I have a huge bruise on my knee from kneeling on concrete fixing the car's brakes yesterday. My dress for the evening is really going to show the bruise off, hopefully it won't be quite as obvious in 5 days time!Live on £11k in 20110
