    It had to happen - DS1 15 1/2 has now got a facebook page! He wants me to be a friend, I've declined, I don't want him having access to what I'm upto!

    Tom soup cooking
    kitchen bin washed out
    Need to pop to JL after dinner

    Time to feed the mogs, get the washing in and hopefully wipe around in the cloakroom.

    :rotfl: DD 16 1/2's friends want to be FB friends with me, but DD has banned them :eek: Little does she know that I hardly use FB, so no odds to me :D

    Been really busy today, but not crossed much off yet :confused: If DD does enough college work tomorrow, we're off to the cinema in the afternoon, so will need to crack on :o

    Does anyone else have this problem or indeed any practical suggestions - the carpets are over quarry tiles and will need replacing some time. Small children, dogs, cats, building works, etc.

    Rip up the carpets, buff up the quarry tiles and lay a couple of rugs - MUCH easier to keep clean - particularly with animals and children
    Soappie – I thought DS and DIL were due to complete yesterday?

    They were - they were supposed to exchange last week and it never happened. But, and we need a big fan fare and drum roll here please:

    :j:beer::j

    They have exchanged!

    Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah.

    Completion is due next Wednesday. They won't be moving out straight away because they want to decorate first. But the end is in sight.... The vendor seems really nice - apparently she's had the carpets cleaned last week and was going to throw out the fridge and cooker but when DiL spoke to her today, she asked her to leave them - that'll save the kids a bit of cash right now.

    And I have got the varnish and have put one coat down on one floorboard so I can see'f it's what I really want (it probably is) - the floor board is now barricaded off against animals.

    Woohoo..... just picked up a crate to crate train my puppy. I am sooooo happy. She is now 4 month old and starting with the serious chewing so looks like we got it just in time.

    She's had 2 5min goes in it and she seems to be taking to it fairly easily. Going to continue with 5 minute sessions for the rest of the evening.

    Flying...... er.... swept and mopped kitchen and bathroom floors
