Cleaning my front door always reminds me of 1950's housewives so I put on my headscarf and work apron to do it :rotfl:

    Hi guys

Dusty :rotfl: go get him gal! funny you should mention 50's housewives today my 92 yr old customer asked me to swill out the back passage and out house (where she still does her cooking) with a brush -I've NEVER done that....I felt like an old housewife too :D

Right, erm not done much really, S&S'd and tidied, done some washing etc oooh and let the electric guy in that's working for the builders who is doing the works for the council ..... he put an isolator on the meter so I'm expecting the works to start fairly soon YAY! new bathroom! double yay! I shall of course do before and after pics so you all get the full glory and shame of the new :T and existing one :o.

The Circus is in town so we're all off later to see those wonderful [STRIKE]native american rope climbers who don't wear tops and have heaving muscles *drools*[/STRIKE] clowns and hula hoop ladies.

Also, I had to empty under stairs cupboard for said ^^^elec guy so the job of moving my xmas decs boxes that was on my list are now in the utility which I ummed and arred about last week, one struck off the list :T

How bl@@dy annoying - hope it happens today..

Well, apparently they are supposed to exchange today after all with completion next week but I won't hold my breath - and you're on form today my dear - well done!

    Welcome new people

I am STILL scrubbing floorboards. It's getting tedious but I guess I've done half the floor now. As soon as DS gets back from work (so I don't have to lock up) I'll nip out and buy some varnish - the stuff that dries in two hours.

I want to get the strip of floor between the kitchen door and the utility area done first when all the kids are at work so there can be no winges about accessing the kitchen or having to access the bathroom by going out of the french windows, around the back and side and in through the back door!

It's all going to have to be done in stages. But it will be fantastic when it's finished

OMG I just turned into my mother in M&S!

(((hugs))) Dusty. That is one scary moment! But it's done now. I'm just waiting for the day I am a passenger ina car and I assume, like mine did recently, that some young men travelling in a car must be uninsured BECAUSE they are young men. And on no other evidence and for no other reason.
Valli in back of car - 'and on what evidence are you basing THAT assumption?' Mother 'well, they're young!'
