  • Afternoon everyone.

Not done any flying yet but I did do the bathroom yesterday so will update my list in a minute.

Triker...I have got the mould spray from lakeland. It is good but it is REALLY strong so if you get it only use in a very well ventilated room and I also open all the windows throughout the whole of the upstairs and make sure the kiddiewinks are out as well as I'm sure the fumes won't do anyone any good.

Froddington...good on you recognising the signs and going to the docs. You don't want to wait until you hit rock bottom. Hope you're feeling back on top soon.

Just watching the programme about twins that was on last night and shedding a few tears over the little chinese twins who were separated at birth when they were adopted. Really sad seeing them say goodbye to each other after only meeting at the age of 6 and spending a week together then having to go home to opposite sides of the world.

Ok, dried my tears off now and will post my list.

    Hi :j

likklegibbon - love the idea of 'decluttering days' as a present. Think I'll do 'flying days' for my daughter at Christmas as she gets really bogged down with housework
Dustykitten - like the idea of tackling Room of Doom everyday (5 minutes or 5 hours) - might join you and put it on my extras list now that I am getting the hang of this flying.

    Hi all.
Eltee12 - oooh, do those alarmy things really work? I am rubbish in the mornings at the best of times, and absolutely hate dark mornings.. wondering now whether one of those would be worth a try

3tabbycats: Will let you know - am hoping to get it all set up tonight. It's one of them where you can set it to sound like birdsong, gently lapping waves etc. Apparently - hmmmmm we shall see..........

OMG I just turned into my mother in M&S!

A middle aged, middle class pompous man spoke so rudely to the staff whilst I was in the queue (sitcom in action). I was so appalled that on the way out I gave him a piece of my mind, very loudly, about how rude he was - other customers were laughing and the staff shouted thank you very much to me as I left.

    Hello everyone
Not had time to catch up - sorry
Birthday wishes to anyone who has a birthday and hugs to poorly people or anyone in need of a hug

Today I have cleaned 3 bedrooms, bathroom, living room and dining room but not done the lists, just had a massive tidy up and clean up. I'm hoping to start the lists again after the half term when DH, DD and DS are ALL back at school.
DH's back is ok now and I'm getting over a tummy bug. His finger is on the mend so he is looking to go back to work in a couple of weeks [when Doc says it's ok as he works with Special Needs children]. Anyway, husg to you all and see you soon

    Morning all,

Last couple of weeks of dark mornings arent hellping at the moment, so on Tuesday I ordered one of them dawn simulator light box/alarm type things. It arrived this morning at 7am. Talk about ironic, I had fallen back to sleep (despite 2 alarms) and got woke up by the delivery guy knocking on the door! have decided new alarm/lamp thing really works :D

:rotfl: I only said to DH this morning that I need to start setting ours again tonight. Good luck with it
Have discovered that you cannot use cheap hair conditioner in place of fabric conditioner.

Any ideas how to get it out of the powder drawer????

Does your drawer not come out so you can soak it in the sink?

My blood sugar is too low now so I'm off for lunch and then I'll start the bathroom.

Need to do a food shop after i do the school run then need to do abit of baking.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Tiles in the bathroom next then. I just need to do the dreaded spare room and I actually don't have a choice this time. Parents are coming to stay on Saturday and I am working away all day tomorrow. The rest of the house is sorted so I don't have to worry about it on Saturday morning when I am shattered.
