Sorry you had so much trouble Javlin. I think some people just let the power get to their head! Like it matters to her how many vouchers she gives away, grumpy old sod! It was one per person and she can't change the terms willy nilly! I'm glad you stood your ground and got your voucher.

I'd actually be inclined to write a letter and complain about her, like you said, you were embarrassed and you shouldn't have been made to feel like that.

  • I've just recieved a reply from IKEA (Belfast) stating that the vouchers were indeed "one per household". I'd like to know if this was the case in other IKEAs around the country or was it "one per customer" as stated on their email? Anyone any info on this as I'm still not happy with the way I was spoken to.

We ( OH + 10 years old son) went to Wembley branch and hand in 17 books; got 3 £5 gift card and used them all in 1 go with no problem. Lovely SA and she said we can do that again the next day.

We had no trouble at Bristol Ikea. My husband and I went up to the customer service desk with a bag of books each and were only asked to sign for our gift cards - no details were asked for.
