G'Morning wii-fitters. Still managing to plug away at the free step every day - some days with more relish than others. It's a shame that it doesn't record high scores for that.
Dusty - How long have you been doing Pilates? I've been wondering about doing it, too, but the class is a 20 min drive away and I have lacked the motivation to even get there. That is the beauty of the wii isn't it. Ours sits under the telly cabinet so if I sit down to watch in the evening and haven't done my session, it looks at me reproachfully until I get off my bum!
Welcome back Caz. I like the sound of the 30 day trainer. Do you get good looking trainers like on the wii fit?
Glad you are having fun, Morocha.

Morning all, I have done 2 30 minutes with the wii personal trainer (weds and thurs) everything is aching but in a good way. Had a rest last night but will do another 30mins for the next couple of days. Going to take my measurements today - am I brave enough to post them? Just hope the tape measure will stretch that far! x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Hi guys.
I have been using the Wii fit on and off since christmas but I need to get stuck back in. My DH comments quite often that the Wii is a waste of money as I hardly use it. I do want to join a local gym too soon but also I want to do the Wii fit.
Have you guys honestly found a difference in your weight/bodies/toning just form the Wii fit.
I understand that you get out what you put in, but I have never thought that you can get much toning from the Wii fit - tell me i'm wrong as I enjoy using the Wii and want some inspirationYou can stand there and agonize........

Kandipandi- go for it- any benefit we get from the Wii is better than the benefit we would get from sitting on our botts just thinking about it!! In other words- you wont be worse off for using it!
I have been really bad over the past week-hardly any exercise and way too much of the wrong foods (curry, fish and chips to name but 2!). I pledge to be better this week and get back on track. Good luck for the week ahead girlies!:Alovin' this site!

Not been very good this week, I went Xmas shopping on Thursday and was shattered by the time I came home (does walking round shops count!) never done anything on Friday and went out for a decent (ish) walk yesterday. Need to get back on the Wii-will do some later when I can get some peace!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

Came back from a cards night at our neighbours' last night but realised at 11:40pm that I hadn't been on the wii. Motivated by the wii fit piggy saying saying I'd been training every day for 2 weeks (and a few whiskeys:o) I decided that I just had to do something before midnight. Much to OH's amusement, I did a very wobbly 10 minutes on free step whilst he watched the end of Match of the Day.
Stomped around the reservoirs this morning...revelation. Stomping is GOOD! Thanks guys. Chased away the remnants of hangover.0 -
Yay Jelly... good for you, stomping is the way to go!!! :j
And Teenie Yes, walking round the shops definitely counts.MMSSB Club Founder Member

havent posted all week. too many threads to keep up with LOL
Did10 school runs this week on foot (eachone is 1.5 mile round trip) - 15 miles in total, all pushing a buggy
Did 4 days of Wii Fit , mostly 30 - 40 mins though one was ony 20 (friend called round in middle of it). Mostly step plus, 6 min duration hula, island lap running, boxing (though its too stop start for my liking) and some weights and yoga. Occasional ski slalom and penguin slide (for comedy value)
Even dug out some 2k weights of DH so I can do arm exercises whilst stepping
Friday did 10 min swim
Saturday did half our raking leaves in the garden.
BAck to Wii Fit tomorrow.
Ordered EA Sports Active on Friday, Amazon says its been dispatched.
Might try exercise DVD tomorrow if I can find one, am sure I have a couple kicking around somewhere.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Hellllllloooooooooooooo!!!!!!
Seriously big apologies for not having been around. It's been ridiculous here! Had DD off school all week with a filthy cold that nearly made it on to her chest (she's an asthmatic) so have been nursing her back to health, only to have DS3 go down with it (he's 18 months), chesty cough and a nose like a snot machine, ugh!
I was worried that when i got back on here, the thread might have dried up, but I should have known better!:T
You have all done marvellously well, youve kept going and motivated each other wonderfully. what a great bunch you are! *glows with pride*
Havent even been NEAR my wii this weekneed a couple of days doing some SERIOUS housework and have to paint the bathroom (couldnt do it last week due to DD asthma, not sure if the paint fumes affect her much, but wasnt prepared to risk it) and then I've GOT to get back into the rountine of exercising!
keep going all of you wonderful people
