    Hi Guys.
Welcome Rainbow. The more the merrier, I think.
Morocha - sorry to hear your night went wrong, you were really looking forward to the wedding as well. Hope your little one is ok, now.

I've just undone all my moneysaving good works by pranging the car. Reversed in to a signpost. First prang in 24 years driving and I feel a pretty sick. Oh well perhaps we won't go away for a couple of days this half term - will have to have a staycation wii olympic/scrabble/cribbage tournament instead and get it resprayed! It's only painted metal as my OH says, after all.

  • Hey, thanks for the welcome Jellymid.

Had an easy day on the Wii today - 31 minutes and quite a bit of the fun stuff cos my body is aching all over from the rest of the stuff I've done all week. Even so, I am apparently 2lbs heavier than when I started, but from my Weightwatchers days I know that whatever I'm weighing this week is usually the left overs of my habits a week or two ago. So bring on the loss of poundage next week!

Current bmi: 25.something (i've got the memory of a sieve, but I know it's nearly 26).

Aiming to lose 10lbs in 3 months. So slow because of Christmas and what not. Plus when I did Weightwatchers I lost weight too quickly and I think I lost lean tissue along with some fat and I don't want to do that this time. Saying that I haven't put any of that weight back and I'm crap with food. I just want to tone up.

Has anyone had any really positive results from the Wii fit? I literally do zero exercise usually so it seems pretty hardcore to me, especially the muscle bit.

Take care all and have a good rest of weekend.

    Hi guys

I seriously need a rocket up my backside (:eek:) I have done no exercise since Wednesday:o.

I really enjoy it when I get going, its just the getting going. My DD who is 2 has been really unwell for the past 3 days and my DH has been unwell all week-not an excuse I know but I'm shattered, I was also working the whole weekend so just not had a chance to get out (and the weather is appaling!)

Anyway Monday tomorrow start of a new week (apart from today lol) so intend and doing something dont know what but I can at least get back on the board tomorrow if nothing else!

SS well done on your weight loss that is brilliant :T.

  • Hiya Boddy and Penguin, lovely to see you here. :)

    Thanks Teenie :D

Hi Rainbow, I do the aerobic stuff and the the balance games, I'm really noticing a difference. My DD1 does a lot of the hula hooping, and we can really see the difference to her stomach muscles. She's getting a pretty good six pack. It'd take a while to see the results like that on my stomach, although my stomach has gone down a lot... I'm down 3 holes on my belt :D

Hi SS. Will do mine tonight when I get back in. Well done! Are you doing anything else or is that just with using the Wii.
  • Boddy, I'm not drinking booze in the week, and I'm vaguely counting WWpoints. But I hate sticking rigidly to anything, it makes me feel deprived. ;) So it's a combination of things, and if I was a little more disciplined about all of it, I'd lose more weight! :o

Anyway, slowly slowly, and hopefully my body won't notice anything's going on!

This morning I did 34mins aerobic activity on the Wii, :j and then blew it by eating some HM cookies! :o

Ahh well, I'll do some more later.

Hi SS and everyone else. I am v impatient and need to know I'm not flogging a dead horse, if you know what I mean, so thanks for the info.

I do think my legs are already looking more toned (they couldn't look any less toned if they tried though) and only a week into the exercises. I did some free step (20mins), hula hooping, a few muscley things and the half moon today. I think I did 32 minutes altogether. I'm aiming to do 30 - 60 mins a day, half of which should be aerobic. I don't half sweat as well!

So in the past week I have: put on a lb! Ha ha. Luckily I'm not disheartened. I'm not dieting at all, just aiming to get in the exercise habit first (and get mince pie season out of the way) because a deprived woman doesn't make a happy woman.

Off out for dinner tonight as my bf is going to USA for 3 months and I will miss him loads, so bring on the food and booze! He he.
