Sounds like a good idea Morocha, if weighing yourself makes you feel down ... don't do it. I'm loving how the exercise is making me feel. I feel much better, and my clothes are feeling better too. I'm wearing jeans today that I haven't worn for months, and last time I wore them, they were really uncomfortable. :j:jMMSSB Club Founder Member

Sarah you are doing great. I did an hour's outdoor stomp this morning and an hour's gardening today so won't do wii fit - I'm just doing wii fit on the days I've done no other exercise. I've just had 1 1/2 glasses of wine in the last 2 10 days. On the whole I feel better for it and seem to have lost the taste a bit.
Lexus - hope you feel better soon. I really believe if you don't feel well then you should not exerciseThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi everyone. Way to go SS. You'll be needing to go to work for a rest! I have a lovely image you all stomping around.
Have just done my half hour on the wii, but feeling wrecked after another couple of hours at the allotment. Tomorrow I'll have to do something with the 10 lbs of leeks I've just picked and trimmed:eek:0 -
Hiya Dusty and Jelly you are good doing your gardens too. I am not in the least motivated to do mine anymore. The children have a ludicrously large trampoline which takes up 1/3 of our garden, and the shrubs have all but taken over the other 2/3.
Dusty, after my birthday weekend drink - 1 small G&T Friday night, LOTS of wine on Saturday night, and regular (for us ) amounts of wine on Sunday, I didn't drink yesterday, and now will attempt to keep booze free during the week. I'm not sure about whether to put another target for myself or not.we'll see I guess.
10lbs of leeks  Leek and potato soup down at yours then Jelly??? :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member

Had 2 days off when I couldnt fit anything in. Got a busy day today-got to go for hospital appt with son and daughter is appearing in "the Scottish "play tonight at The Birmingham Old Rep-v proud of her! Had to get her to school for 8am this morning so trundled dogs into the car and took them for a mega brisk walk round the park (it was soggy and wet-yuk!) Car stinks of wet dogs now! Dunno if I will have time to clean it today tho so will just have to drive with the windows open til I get the chance!!
Came home and did the usual round of housework, sat down to check in on everyone and broke the keyboard tray on the desk! Those work outs on the Wii have made me sooo strong!! Really cheesed off tho cus now we're gonna have to buy a new desk cus I've had a look at this and I dont think it can be fixed-rats!
Put new batteries in the scales and they say I am the same as when I started but I think its moving round cus my tum doesnt bulge quite so much now!
Oh well- good luck everyone-enjoy the day!:beer:lovin' this site!

Hi everyone... feeling much more alive today! :j
Gotta go and do a shop in sainsburys in a bit and then when I come back I've got some ironing and cleaning to do and hopefully Ms Wiifit board will be coming out to play later!!
I've had a few bad days - you know.... eating what I fancy, when I fancy it etc etc etc... so now I am on a mission... Christmas is getting closer and I need to have dropped a dress size by then! :rolleyes:0 -
Jelly - I cut loads up earlier in the year and froze them in an ice cream tub - it was great to just be able to take a few out for adding to cheese sauce or soups etc.
Pilates for me this afternoon so probably no wii fit but it is still some exercise. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Glad your feeling better lexuslass you have to work doubly hard now lol;) I hope you enjoyed your treats though-everyone needs a blow out now and again.
Dustykitten hope you enjoyed your pilates, I have my kick boxing tonight so no Wii for me either.
Morocha keep at it, I personally find the Wii scales (if that is what you go by) innacurate-it actually weighs me lighter but can change depending how well I am balanced on it or where about I lay it down so don't worry about that use your clothes as a guide.
SS Well done on doing those yoga poses, I tried them once or twice and that was enough. Had a serious look at the muscle exercises but just stood and laughed-no way am I ready for them yet but the day will come eventually (lol) when I will manage them!!
Right I can't wait any longer i am bursting to tell you....weigh day today (I use Boots scales every week now) and I have lost another 5Ibs!! I am so chuffed-16Ibs in 3 weeks-but remember I am hugely overweight so I know I will quite big weight losses initially but I want to aim to lose 2Ibs a week now which is sensible but anything more is a boost, I'm sure it must be the exercising as well as the diet that is helping so thank you Mrs B (wherever you are-still busy in the bedroom?;):D) for starting this thread and everyone else who posts for the encouragement it is fab."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
