I agree, so today is day 2 & it should be here as stated on their website.

Thats assuming you count Saturday as a working day
Otherwise Monday was its day of collection and entry to the system

Quote from their website at: https://www.collectplus.co.uk/track/new
Parcel dropped off at a shop Fri - Sun - Standard Service Typically delivered in 2 working days - typical delivery Tuesday.
Can't be much plainer! They picked it up Sat & processed it through the Norwich depot, so how can you say it didn't enter their system until Monday. Plus they claim that even if it wasn't collected until Sunday it should still be here by Tuesday, read the website!

You seem to think adding exclamation marks adds weight to your post?
    I can read a website
    So
"Working Day" means any day which is not a Saturday or Sunday and which the banks are open for business.

So it doesn't count it was collected on Saturday
its 1st day was Monday .
    It states
    Standard Service
Typically delivered in 2 working days
We can under no circumstances whatsoever, accept any responsibility for any delay to the delivery of Parcels to the Relevant Delivery Point.
  • I used Collect Plus to send returned items to a well-known clothing company, using their usual returns address. My local Post Office has closed, so Collect Plus has become the more convenient option, as I imagine it has for many. The website was slick, tracking the parcel all they way to its destination, delivered ahead of time...but then I discover the addressee never got it. I asked how it could have arrived yet been lost - surely that would happen in transit. No explanation was provided, raising the suspicion that underpaid subcontractors are making little effort to see the parcel is safely handed over before logging it as delivered.

The goods were worth £80, but I hadn't chosen additional compensation (the standard amount is £50), so lost out to the tune of £30 - carpe diem. On the plus side (excuse pun), they have promised to settle (though by cheque, rather than by the method used to pay in the first place); on the minus side, I don't know I'd trust them again, despite the alternative being a long trek to the now more distant nearest Post Office.

Used Collect Plus for returns loads of times. They however were responsible for the only parcel I have ever lost using a courier (have sent over 400). The item got stuck at a depot according to the tracking and they kept promising it would be dispatched from the depot. After a month of this they admitted it had vanished but refunded me based on what I said it was worth without asking for any proof of value. I use My Hermes now as the local shop that I used to drop off at kept moaning about how they didn't get anything for doing it (despite the fact I always use to buy something when dropping off a parcel)
  • love it when one person has a bad experience with a courier then tells the whole world to avoid at all costs
the % of parcels going missing or arriving damaged is probably 1%
so hardly warrants a rant does it

1% is one in every hundred packages.
I would expect it to be much lower

Used them a handful of times and been impressed by the quick service and tracking info.

Considering they are half the price of Royal Mail and with a quicker delivery I will continue to use them.

Compensation can be increased from the standard £50 by paying a little extra, still makes them cheaper than Royal Mail.

I just sent something for £9.00(incl. added compensation) took two days to deliver, sending the same parcel by Royal Mail Special delivery would have cost over £25.
  • I've used Collect Plus many times over the past few months and each parcel was delivered before lunch the following day. The best courier I've ever used.
    :j
The website and tracking is also easy to use
I say what I like, I like what I say!

I use Collect + and didn't realise they delivered to a local shop, thought it was to the address you've paid for the parcel to be delivered to !!!!!
