Correct bra Size and 'big' knickers

And most people have a too small cup size and a too big back size!
It would be worth everyone trying a bra that is down one back size and up one cup size from their usual to see the effect!0 -
I did this last week and feel much better. I was wearing a 34C and came out with a 34DD and a 34E:j.
Dont have any big knickers but definitely thinking about some that hold everything in where it should beLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
I once got measured in M&S and they told me I was a 40B, yeah okay.....
I currently wear 36E and my boobs have had another spurt so currently sporting the very untrendy 4 boob look now and then. Lovely.
The way I work it out is if you go down a back size go up a cup, as a 38DD is the same cup size as a 36E.0 -
Depends on the fitter I've found! Some are good, some are crap and then every manufacturer of bra has a different idea of what each size really is.0

But she had the balance right still 3 back sizes too big, 3 cup sizes too small0 -
When I was growing up we used to live near an RAF base, and we used to fondly shout 'there's nannies knickers!!' as we drove past the wind sock :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

I got measured at Bravissimo and was wearing the correct size *smug face* :-)
I'm a 14/16 top but wear a 32J bra. So many people have said well you're not a 32 - but I always reply well if I'm not then how come I fit into it!0 -
Don't you love that perception that you can only be a small back size if you are a size 6! I get a similar comment all the time (28-30 back) and it's so annoying. Thing is, if you are wearing the right size bra, you'd probably struggle to wear even one back size too small as it would struggle to close, and you'd definitely toil with more than one.0

I use a local independant bra shop, the fitters don't measure but they get ladies into a bra that fits, and be aware that trying a different manufacturer's bra can lead to a completely different size...
I like they shorts style knickers epecially in lycra, they fit well and don't fall down or disappear where they shouldn't !0 -
i will never use M&S for fitting ever again since they told me i was a 40DD.... prev week i went to bravissimo wearing that size and came out a 36GG... my god what a difference!!. I have used sadie before, but i much prefe3r bravissimo, much more choice of style, i also find M&S bras quite bad quality, specially on the bigger cup sizes. seem far too flimsy and straps too narrow to support really.
but i love M&S for knickers!!and yes i like big comfy ones!!:D
Please be nice to all moneysavers!
