Hi Ladies,

Just popping in to say hi, i haven't been able to get computer access where i can post for a while so am making the most of it now!

Sounds like everyone is doing great!! Not long to go now for any of us!! I'm 22nd May. I'm knowhere near as organised as everyone else! Panic is setting in a bit - bridesmaid dresses not coming til the end of April from China off ebay!! Its a bit of a fingers crossed job!!

Most little things sorted like favours and stuff but need to concentrate on the big things now - like rings!! Great advice from reading this thread today! I've got some incredible ebay bargains, tiara, veil, hip flasks (mens prezzies), i can post names if anyone looking for these?

Having a bit of a drama about how to uninvite a guest - might post thread on here to see what people think - long story!!

Just got to pay for everything now!!

I can't believe how quick its come around. 4 weeks yesterday!
I can normally be a bit of a stress head but so far so good. I suppose it could get stressful nearer the time because we are relying on quite a few people.

My OH is a bundle of nerves because he is worried about people looking at him and he is painfully shy. I keep saying why worry, your going to look the best you ever have and all the people at the Wedding are there because they want to be.

Had a busy day yesterday, paid reception meals, buffet, piper blah, blah. Got seamstress on Tuesday. Everything seems to be going well. Can not believe it is less than 4 weeks till I become a 'wife'!

Well 4 weeks yesterday for me too :eek: Finally sorted the men's suits, they should be ready to pick up on the 22nd. Spoke to a seamstress and she only needs a week to shorten my dress so got a couple of weeks max to find petticoat and shoes. Still need to buy tiara and jewellery and sort make-up and hair and erm loads more!!! Getting there, slowly, lol

lisae03 - I know how your OH feels, I feel exactly the same. Even though we're having a really low-key and small-scale wedding, I'm still petrified, I find it so hard to cope with being the focus of attention, even though it's only very close family and friends... the very thought of it makes me sick with fear! But having said all that, I want to marry my OH with all my heart and I wouldn't not marry him, no matter how it makes me feel!

Stopped by the reception venue today for a drink - we sat by the river and it was lovely, although a little weird to think that the next time I'm there I'll be married!

Pretty much everything sorted now. Just want to try and be calm for the next month, altho I expect that's probably just wishful thinking!

Sazbo - Yeah he'll be fine, apparently he's going to have a couple of drinks before the Wedding to calm his nerves.

I keep thinking I'm really organised and then something else pops up. I've just remembered I need to get presents for the bridesmaids, Page Boy and mothers? I think traditionally the mothers have flowers don't they but I think I'd rather have something they can keep? I was thinking Jewellery for the bridesmaid (1 adult ones my daughter) or perfume. I need a bargain as I don't to be spending to much! For the Men we bought Ben Sherman Watches which I found on the 'grabbit board' and they were such a steal!

Had another horrible dream last night about my wedding, this time about my dress :(I've still got so much to do but part of me will be so glad when it's all over! Hopefully going to the florists tomorrow to get ideas of centrepieces and hopefully actually sort something, also going to bridal shops to try and sort my petticoat, tiara and shoes so fingers crosses i'll have a productive day...

Crumbs... not long to May now at all!
It's so reassuring to read that I'm not the only one with sleepless nights over petticoats and make-up!

Getting nervous...
Had my hen night on Saturday and everyone was asking if I was nervous. I wasn't but I am now! It's only 2 weeks on Saturday - I can not wait but think I will be a wreck on the day. Everything is organised and now I have too much time on my hands and am worrying over nothing LOL.

I'm three days after you, wanttogetwed, and I'm bricking it! Aarrghh! lol. In fact I've just realised it's 3 weeks today :eek: In the last day or two, it suddenly all feels "real", iykwim? Everything's pretty much sorted now - altho we're only having a v small wedding. Just a few small bits and pieces to sort. But as you say, maybe that means too much time to worry about nothing!
