Hi Sazzy, you sound pretty sorted :j I go to pick up my dress on Friday but unfortunately due to the nightmare story of it, i'm not looking forward to it and want to get out of the shop as quickly as possible :( I'll be glad once i've got it though as i can then get some shoes and check if my flowers go with my dress as i'm unsure if they will. My ring has been at the jewellers for a couple of weeks now, really need to make the effort to go and get it! Still very stressed but on a positive note, i'm just about to order my tesco vouchers for our honeymoon :j

Try not to get too stressed Loonytoons hun, but I know that's way easier said than done. Hopefully it'll go better than you anticipate on Friday ... let us know how you get on :)

  • I still have to get rings. My shoes are ordered. Need shoes for BM and hair accessories for Bm and flowergirl. In process of writing invites and made up a 'mock' centre piece that I am happy with. Next job - revisit venue and have to go back to florist on 27th March.

I also need to get rings and am in the process of trying to do so. We went shopping yesterday and the 200 we budgeted for didn't get us very far at all! I'm not really a girly girl so wasn't to sure what to chose but have been looking at H.Samuel online and they see to have much more choice. I want something that is fairly cheap but that doesn't scream cheap iyswim? I like the look of

The last one is my fave but I don't think they are actual wedding rings are they? I really know so little about jewellery and would really appreciate any guidance

Are these not more like engagement rings - I am like you clueless when it comes to jewellery - more into football LOL. I am putiing rings off until March pay day then will look in jewellers see if anything catches my eye. I quite like this one it is only £45.

I agree, they're more like engagement rings. I think these are what are regarded as wedding rings, a band. AFAIK This si prob the one Im gonna get too

I think the most important thing is that you like the ring, whether or not it's a proper wedding ring as such. Get the ring you'd like to see on your finger. But I'm pretty clueless myself lol. I'm only get a plain wedding band because I think that looks better with my engagement ring, rather something more 'busy'.

  • OH MY GOD - 5 weeks to go. Everything organised apart from rings - can anyone recommend a cheapish wedding ring set. Neither of us is into jewellery only things I wear is my cross and engagement ring.

OMG 5 weeks! My dress is here though - phew! What gold is your enagagement ring wanttogetwed? You need to have the same for your wedding band.

I always wear white gold, seen one in Argos but didn't really have the wow factor. The one I like is well above budget at £169.00 just don't want to pay that for a ring! Engagment ring was expensive but we weren't faced with wedding expenses at the time :rotfl:

Really can't believe it's 35 days to go  Really hoping things start to come together in the next couple of weeks!! Although i've still got so much to do and i am looking forward to the day, part of me is relieved that in 5 weeks i can stop stressing and maybe get a decent nights sleep!!
