May 1st for me too! It's flying along now isn't it? Anthing I can worry about is getting worried about
I have to say though "our Linda" is a superstar!!! :T My dress (from Milly) has gone from wonderful to amazing with just the correct petticoat
So big thanks to her she is an :A0 -
I will be very surprised if i make it to my wedding day without a nervous breakdown!!! Going to the florist tomorrow to hopefully sort my boquet and the centrepieces, got make-up trial on thursday and hair trial on friday, still need to buy my tiara and shoes and get my dress shortened, as from yesterday i have no cake (families, grrrr, lol) so going to speak to the florists tomorrow about that too to see what they can provide to put on some shop bought cakes from m&s/tesco etc..
Haven't had a hen night, that's been one big disaster
On the plus side, i've managed to lose some weight but now my dress is too big!! It's tie up so i thought i could just have it tighter but discovered yesterday that the modesty panel is poppered in so need to bring the poppers in so it can be done up tighter!!
I've seriously had enough, i can't sleep properly so i'm shattered and just want it over and done with! I'm looking forward to the actual day as by then it will be too late and i can't wait for my honeymoon, 3 days away just relaxing, i soooo need it, lol0 -
Aww loonytoons, I know the feeling! Calander is full of appointments. We still don't have rings as OH is working 8 till 5 Monday to Saturday just now. Argos will hopefully have our sizes. I have said I am going to a padded cell for honeymoon as we can not afford one lol.
I'm sure we will be fine. I can't wait to sit down for meal and have it all over with.Became Mrs Lawson on May 1st 2010

Loony and wantto - if it helps at all, and I'm sure it doesn't - I know exactly how you're feeling at the mo! I think the actual day will go ok, I guess it'll have to, but I'll be too nervous to really enjoy it. But the ten days in Cornwall afterwards will be absolute bliss and I'm just trying to hold on to that thought right now
Had a bit of a teary upset episode last night about it all, but think that's probably a stress/hormone combo as much as anything lol.
It's so nice to be able to post here and know that other people are going through similiar

I've had a few teary episodes lol. Am just going with it - am really excited but stressed too. My appetite seems to have disappeared which is usual for me when I get stressed. Keep thinking there is plenty of time but there is not! My son's birthday was on the 9th, my OHs is today and my mums is on Saturday. Arghh roll on May 1st so I can enjoy all this hard work.Became Mrs Lawson on May 1st 2010

Its so close now isn't it! I've got a few more weeks than you ladies though, ours is 22nd. Got a lot to do though - seating plans, table number, finalise with florist, make buttonholes & corsages, make flower for mine and BMs hair.... and our rings were delivered yesterday - but mine was in the size for h2b and his was in my size so they have to go back.
Still, it'll be worth it! x0 -

OMG, 2 weeks time and it will all be over!!
Had hair and make-up trial now and both went okay so that's a relief. Still need to find shoes so i know by how much to get my dress shortened and need to get a tiar. Most other things are starting to fall into place but still a fair way to go! Hope all you other may brides are doing okay x0 -

I just couldnt find any normal wedding shoes I like but KG do some really nice shoes and at these prices I couldnt resist, lol.
Well with 6 weeks to go we've pretty much done everything, except arrange decorations for the day. Ive got my Hen on the 8th which should be brill. Im so nervous about the actual ceremony tho, I hate speaking infront of people (hence only close family at ceremony, 12 people), just hoping it goes quickly and will then be able to relax, lol.
Oh and hoping this ash cloud hurry up and dissapears so we can have a honeymoon too.0 -
13 days to go eeekkkk!!! Went to hand in our menu today and were informed we were supposed to know how many people were eating what. So gonna run around tomorrow with menu's and see what people want. Still no rings but OH off on Wednesday so will nip to Argos and H Samuels. Everything else in hand (I hope). Got seamstress for final fitting on Tuesday and hair trials on Tuesday.
