We had our rehearsal at the church this evening and all went well :j The vicar is lovely and really put us at ease, would have been better if the best men hadn't been trying to make me laugh while i did my vows though :D Had a complete nightmare of a time with the suits but hopefully picking up some tomorrow and some saturday. 9 days

Hell there date sextuplets... (morwenna, serenawell, wanttogetwed, lisae03 & Loonytoons) One week to go, how are we all feeling? I had a bit of a panic this morning, cant quite believe we're only a week away!
Just 3 days to work this week and just little things left to do....but still have the horrible nagging feeling I've forgotten something!
    And breathe.......

(Hope the weather is this good next saturday!)

    Hels xx
Women marry men hoping they will change, men marry women hoping they won't! Inevitably they will both be disappointed.

Hi there mshelsbels :D Been busy today sorting bits, picked up suits, bought youngest new shoes, bought vases for centrepieces. Still haven't found any shoes for me, definitely need them by Thursday as will need them to see how much i need my dress shortened by. Only got 2 tiers of my cake, having trouble finding a 3rd which isn't a reject, lol. Out for the day on Monday shopping with my mum so hopefully will tie up some lose ends then. OH is on his stag do, went yesterday and comes back Monday, hopefully in time to get kids from school so i can continue shopping :D

I am having major niggles - there must be something I have forgotten!

Cant believe I can no longer say 2 weeks on Saturday or a week on Saturday - now it's Saturday - yes this Saturday - how scary is that. OH comes off on holiday at 5pm for 2 weeks so will have him to help me through. Minister is coming tomorrow for a run through. Got rings (finally!). Deep breathes phew....

OMG, I get married this week  that is such a crazy thought!

Only 3 days at work so I have 3 days at home to try and keep it together!

Went over to our venue yesterday to test the music system we will be using for our ceremony, typically OH forgot the remote and the CD didnt work! But as our wedding co-ordinator said that is what test runs are for!

We also managed to pick up 6 of our 8 gifts which I was really pleased about, 2 left to find and some engraving to do.

I think (Hope!) we have got most stuff organised now, have finished the table plan but need to stick it down as I have two versions of table 4 as I am waiting for one girl to confirm if she is working or not .

Try and keep calm ladies (and gents) and just look forward to your special days!

  • Just remembered I need to get gifts (oops). Busy day today, have to pick up marriage license, nip into seamstress with a king size duvet cover and have a rehearsal with minister. I can't sleep/OH can't sleep it's crazy!! Finally got an offer of a babysitter (phew). 5 sleeps to go OMG OMG OMG!! Deep breathes...........

All the very best wanttogetwed and all you other lovely May-ers :) 8 days to go for me  Although weirdly, as of today, I seem to have entered some kind of parallel universe, as though I feel disembodied and none of the stress etc is happening to me but to someone else lol I'm sure that'll change tho!

Had a nerve-jangling time yesterday afternoon putting marzipan on our homemade wedding cake - never done it before but it doesn't look too bad considering.

Relatives fly over from the states on Friday... I think that's when it'll really sink in.

    Have a good week everyone.
