    Can't believe it's so soon ... !
Hope everyone's planning is going ok.

I've finished making invitations and sent them off. Also just ordered my shoes from the Filippa scott sale site.. what do you think? Still waiting on my dress.

I have no idea what to do about flowers. Can I just go to the local florist and give her some really vague ideas?

    Hi all!

    Sparklewitch - love your dress
Yumyums - jealous of your shoes :D

I can't get my shoes as I have decided I will wait until the Dress is here. (Ordered from Milly) However, they are currently behind and are now on holiday until the end of Feb  So I am going to have to wait... Having said that, I am extremely pleased with their overall level of service so far and the dress (even unfinished) exceeds my expectations :D

    We have
Booked venue & paid deposit - Ceremony & reception all in one place.
Got 2x Bridesmaids, dresses, handbags, shoes (13 yr old we are waiting as she is in a growth spurt!)
Booked & paid deposit for men's suits
Photographer booked - taking "mood board" on Friday.
Cake - ordered and deposit paid
    Flowers semi done :D
Table centres, confetti and table numbers bought and sorted.
    Invites TONIGHT!! from Vista Print
    DJ booked - deposit tomorrow
    Pianist - booked
    Entertainment - booked (rock guitarist)
    Rings - picked out
Notice of Marriage and registrars booked
Readings and readers picked and done
    Music - semi sorted

    Still need
    Chair covers
    To order rings
    Hair & make-up

Just got the shoes in the post and can vouch for Filippa Scott! Only tried them on briefly but they're sooo comfortable. The pink bits at the toe and heel are made from lovely, thick, soft cushioning. Still not sure I would have paid in excess of £200 for them full price but at the sale price they're a steal.

Getting worried about my dress. Bought it in October off ebay (new) from a seller in America and it's a bit delayed. They say it's because of the time of year.

The next thing I want to sort out is a nice necklace. Looking to buy second hand but it seems 'vintage' stuff is so fashionable these days that it's really expensive.

Still haven't done anything about the cake. I decided to make a 3-tier wedding cake myself complete with sugar flowers. I'm quite good at baking but I've never done anything like this before. Starting to think I'm crazy.
