Thanks for that! I know when I went to get my dressed they all nearly dropped dead when I said it was 5 months away and i hadnt even thought about anything but the venue LOL! I'm guessing its easier to only have 6 months to plan it - i dont get chance to change my mind!

Well, I'm pleased to report that our reception venue has now re-opened after their fire and is as good as new! I got my first Chritmas card addressed to Mr & Mrs the other day - someone obviously hadn't heard that we had to postpone! Felt a bit sad, but then I remembered we've got the whole wedding day to plan (again) and look forward to!!
Having to rethink the whole invite situation....obviously sent save the date cards and invites the first time around, so not sure if we have to go the whole hog again (plus its costly)

Think we'll get Christmas over and done with then start with the whole wedding thing again....yay! :T:T

Just trying to get my head round the invites. Im going to try and get them out just after xmas maybe 1st/2nd week in January. Then I have a nice little holiday booked to recharge the batteries. Go on 17th Jan back 25th (away for my birthday) So when I get back it will be 3 months to go :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I just cant wait till Jan 1st so that I can say .........Im getting married THIS year (4 months to be exact )

got so much to do havent got a photographer, havent ordered my invite supplies, dont have any cars, no bridesmaids dresses nor ushers/bestman/groom suits!

i have a venue, a groom, a dress and a veil!!

Hi everyone, im getting married 7th may 2010. About 90 ppl

So far i have sorted

venue - hotel by the beach
photographer - family friend saved a fortune with added extras thrown in.
wedding dress - maggie (melissa bouquet) ivory taffata.
bridemaids dresses- cadburys purple ( 3 in total)
grooms party (pageboys 3 in total)
honeymoon - picked by husband to be, what a great surprise!
Cake
Flowers. florist will make hair piece for me as i want a roses in my hair.
Notice of marriage
Mother sorted with an outfit
favours - donation to brotish heart foundation in memory of husband late dad.
Cars by family
chair covers sorted
Dj
hair by cousin
invitations making our selves.
Im now thinking about jewerelly and what to wear under the dress!!!
Need to do
Shopping for jew etc.
Rings off internet very reasonable for platinum/whitegold
meet with photographer
Time is ticking and were going to get invites posted by mid jan.
Ist fitting of dress in april....cant wait. keep looking at it on internet.

Just wondering how everyone is doing? I've still got soo much to sort out and can't believe my day is now just 15 weeks away :eek: I have now got my bridesmaids dresses although they all need altering which can't be done until nearer the time which is a bit of a worry but at least i've got them. I pick up my dress on wednesday :j Oh and am joining the gym on thursday :rotfl:

Haven't done the invites yet which I was meant to do this/last week. Gonna do them after the holiday then its really time to panic !!!

Argh I still have only got a veil, venue and dress!!!!! Why am I so disorganised! Got it all planned in my head, but not booked anything!
