Yes, looking back at the post and rereading it a few times, it may be that its facetious, but it is also very ambiguous and not obviously facetious.

Still, it neednt have been said, facetious or not.

No one who is on DLA doestnt deserve it, you have seen the criteria needed for DLA. Your wife cannot meet the criteria so doenst get it because she is obviously not in need of the care that DLA provides for.

I suggest she tries again and if she is turned down, then appeal.

I disagree with the highlighted bit. Whereas I am sure that there are many people who genuinely deserve it, many are very good at filling in paperwork

For your information my aunt has an underactive throid and shes a size 6 and cant put any weight on because of it. So not every one is the same.

My Mum was the same, though don't know whether is was due to her thiroid. Could never put weight on and, even when she was dying of cancer, was told by her docter to eat a "chocolate and all that is bad for you"

Can you believe it, she lived on special milk shakes to get her nutrition and calories, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavour. That was her choice!

Well I took offense to it aswell, That wasn't a nice thing to say! at allunder any cirumstance. Sorry if you took my post the wrong way but it wasn't meant to upset anyone. I had a friden who hada bad back and played on it and got DLA whilst his wife was with him as soon as she left him all of a sudden his back was fine! So he played on it and got DLA and did not need it1 All I meant was in some circumstances people sometime dont get it the ones being who are genuine! I cannot believe the comments that have been left especially about TERMINATION!, You evil git! Thanks - This was my last post and am now leaving this forum. Thanks to all the people who where kind there are some nicer people out there and regards to not being to afford to start a family!! WELL if you wait until you can afford it it may never happen! Thanks again for everyones help except for the person who called another human FAT and Lazy. Never again will I use this forum! C.
