I have reported Bootski for being offensive. I've never reported before but I couldn't believe how awful the post's content was.

I read Bootski's post as a facetious response to the unkind nature of the previous post. I don't think those were Bootski's true thoughts - just her own extrapolation of what the previous poster was implying.

That's just my take on it, though.

    I agree,

I have no idea whether the OP's wife should have DLA but I think only 2 of the conditions listed would merit it - Talepies or spinabifida.

Underactive thyroid is usually a permanent condition which, if not treated with daily thyroxin, leads to death. The condition needs continual monitoring and can be very debilitating although most people respond to treatment and lead normal lives providing they take their thyroxin.

Isn't an under active thyroid usually trotted out as an excuse for being a fatty?

That was your comment that I took offense to.

I think Bootski is referring to this one as the one that made him/her respond as they did.

I also read his/her reply as being sarcastic... which is fairly obvious given the sarcastic smiley.

I think maybe it should be dropped now and maybe get back to the OP's query.
I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like? :D :A :D
