<---- Is not an old man from Dudley...

    LOL!

I was giggling away reading your accents conversation! Krystal has a bit of an accent but not too noddy!! Although it is hard to say because I am used to the accent down here now. When I first met hubbys family I couldn't understand a word...it was all yams and yows and very much beyond me!!

3 - I often get under the table :o ....usually to roll around under there with Benjamin until he gets bored and goes off to find another adventure without his stoopid mum interfering :rotfl:

Which TL are you staying at? Then I will get my thinking cap on :D

Edit - Weezl - are you and hubby having some adult time tonight???

Do you say 10 while 5 when telling the time? My sis does that now she's been living in yorkshire for almost 5yrs, but I dunno if it does as far north as you?

Thats not yorkshire, thats just weird! (or does she live in Hull? they are a bit weird there)

Manchester - OH is from Salford and we lived in Wythebnshawe as newlyweds.

Accent - I sound welsh. When buying a car, the guy asked me to translate a letter into welsh. I don't know why though, never lived in wales!

Baby Theory - I had a moderately stressful pregnancy I suppose (I also have a terrible memory, was I as happy as I remember I was?) LO was born at around 7:40pm and sleeps best at night. Natural although bit stressful delivery, baby was in distress. He is very chilled though. Definitely not routine baby, he eats when hungry, sleeps when tired but times all vary.

Random - I can fertiilize. And I'm off for afternoon tea at 3pm with NCT Mums.

indeed not! And I suspect you don't have the flares, kipper tie or a wish that it could be christmas everyday! :)

I wish it could be Christmas every day :)

Molly has a loose routine - up at 7-8 for feeding and changing, feeding again 10-11 then playtime for about 30-45 minutes, long sleep till 2-3, feeding, playtime, short snooze followed by boob being offered, played with and ultimately ignored, playtime, feeding around 8-9, sleep till 11, feed, sleep till 2-4, sleep till 7-8.

Actually that's quite a routiney routine now I look at it. Hmm. And it looks like it will fit pretty well with my going back to work (next Monday :() - two feeds only while I'm out.

My accent's weird - I've lived in Ireland, the US and Germany so my accent's all over the place. You can pick out Liverpool, Dublin, a regionless US accent and flat Lancashire vowels. Strange.

    Morning all,

Hope you have all had a lovely start to your weekends.

Beenie – I have used Johnsons and Boots own Slim Breast Pads, and both were equally as good, however I have not had major leakage as not been able to breast feed. I am still leaking every day, 5 weeks on though, as milk has not dried up yet, so I am still wearing them.

Accents – I am Scottish, but west coast and very mainstream. I don’t “sing” my words like the east coasters he he. And I don’t say things like “ken” or “like” at the end of every sentence. I would say for a Scottish person I don’t have much of an accent and I am quite well spoken. But then no-one ever thinks they have much of an accent do they? Others disagree! English people usually think it’s funny to get me to say “there’s been a murder” in the style of Taggart though! And someone once said I sounded like Lorraine Kelly and I definitely don’t!!!!!!

DH bought maternity mats from a pound shop (3 for £1) yesterday in case anyone is interested. We had been using some from Boots that I bought and didn’t need during pregnancy, for having nappy free time with Holly on the carpet before her bath. I think in Boots they were about £3.99, so if anyone else does this, it’s quite a good price. I am not sure which pound shop though. DH thinks it may be called Pound Express??

    xx

Sugar - I can't believe you are back to work so soon. How long have you been off? It doesn't seem very long since you had Molly. Are you going back full time? What are you doing about childcare? Sorry if I have missed this!

    Has everyone seen this:

It's hilarious. It kind of freezes for a bit, but keep watching as it's really funny. Or maybe it's just me and OH, but we were wetting ourselves at it. :D
