I know all you ladies (and Bruno) are lovely :). Just have to get into the mindset of meeting in RL!

    Oh no - come! :D
I'm there for DD's dancing comp on the Sunday. We have to be there at 9am, so we're coming down on Saturday and staying over.
I'm leaving OH and DS here to do boy stuff, and just bringing the girls.

I just realised my last post turned into a bit of a rant! I'm also an incredibly laid back person and I hardly ever get annoyed.......but that bl00dy mad woman down the road really winds me up!

ETA: thats a good idea SB (except for the people who happen to live in the town where we arrange the big MSE meet up!)
    She'd wind me up to!
I wish I got to meet Krystal :( (nothing against anyone else btw!)

Krystal can I ask do you have an accent? or do you have the same non descript one we all have (though MFD's was slightly [STRIKE]less northern[/STRIKE] posher than mine :D)

Krystal has to have an accent - well at least she has one when I read her posts! (As does everyone else) :D.

(I had to alter Sami & MFD's after meeting them - so now their posts are just in a normal, similar to mine but less common, accent).

Doh, just remembered SM said she was going to sleep..

I don't think of anyone having an accent, probably cos I haven't got one - boring, blah-ness of the east coast! I'm always surprised when I hear accents..

:rotfl: this is why I need to know! Should I been reading Krystal's posts a la noddy holder? :rotfl:

now I need to know how you 'heard' me before! I also wonder if RMac has a scots accent or not

I bet you have a hint of an accent, I think its the local lingo that usually gives it away like when you described tea cakes I think you said they're like bread cakes but round here we call them barm cakes.
Do you say 10 while 5 when telling the time? My sis does that now she's been living in yorkshire for almost 5yrs, but I dunno if it does as far north as you?

  • I now feel really odd for just reading posts without any acoustic features!

I have an accent, especially compared to DH!

Your sis is further north than me.. :)

I say "ten to five" - I'm not even sure what "while" means in that sense.. is it "to" or "past"?:o

I'm going to be so disappointed if Krystal doesn't sound like Noddy! ;)

Sami - you disappointed me - you didn't say willyekerslike once! :rotfl:

I think we'd struggle to understand the Scottish and N/Irish ladies.

SB - are you proper Liverpool?
I thought OH was posh when I met him - until I found out he'd been brought up in Germany and various Army bases around the UK.
