nope we never change him at dream feed, or burp him either cos he's all sleepy and doesn't take on any air :) We do it in the dark and very near the cot, ie trying where poss to keep him asleep :)
LOL when OH used to do the 10pm feed, he'd play with him and tickle him, but luckily he'd go straight back to sleep !

    doesn't breast feed her? :p

No, but I do, and all he has to do is put her back down. Which is what I have to do too

The monster just leaned off my breast and sat up briefly by herself! She didn't make it very long but did it again shortly after, again just for a few seconds. All this magical learning stuff is wonderful to watch.

ok, maybe this will help, cos I really think children who are very high in rhythmicity are quite easy to spot and I think Fergus is one! Some examples:

In utero he woke and kicked at 7.30 am every day.

He has never pooed in the afternoon or at night and usually between 9.30 and 10.30 am.

He naps for 45 mins and you can set a watch by it :rotfl:

Rhythmical children really notice when something is not as it usually is, and when DH wore contacts instead of specs once, fergie kept reaching out and patting DH's eyelids where the specs usually are.

Does any of this help at all!?
I think Ryry is one of thos babbys, he is very predictable which makes my life easy, but he does adapt well to change thank god.

Does anyone think there's any truth in the theory (dunno who's theory exactly, I heard it from a friend) that babies born in the evening sleep better at night and babies born in the morning sleep during the day but not at night - sleeping straight after birth due to getting over the shock of it all..

Rhys was born at 8am and sleeps in in the morning (well, used to!) and doesn't sleep at night, whereas my friend's baby was born at 5pm and has always been a good sleeper at night
Well Ryry was born in the evening and has been a good all nighter from birth (not as in not waking, but he'd never stay awake when he woke uo for a mid-night feed)
Aston was the same but he was born at 12.20pm, so I guess he was born between morning and evening.

Changing his middle name, Jacob just isn't right and it was chosen for wrong reasons. He'll have his real name, the one he should have had all along, Toby Benjamin. (Sorry MFD :o )
