Bruno, should we tell our menfolk that if they do the dishes they will get more sex because we will feel less frustrated with them :D .
We ended with 6 wees, 4 accidents :j
Thats the only way dishes get done by OH here! ;)
    Congratulations Mel!

    You're making me broody too...

I didn't get the job. Good feedback though - she told me to keep applying for jobs at the council as I would be an asset to them, which isn't bad going. Someone else had more experience though, which is the luck of the draw with interviews I suppose. Never mind.

sorry about the job but at leastyou wom the skibz bib comp through BB :D (did you know you've won?)

Really, MM? My doctor was really scary when telling me all the things that might happen :(

3, it's not that I didn't do it properly, I think it's just that it was an emergency, I was on oxygen and given so many drugs that my body went into shock, and then we had a baby and it's only now I have time to breathe that I can feel a bit sorry for myself that it didn't go the way I wanted, and I'm frightened for the next time while wanting to have more babies.

Skinty, it would be a good idea to stash cereal bars around the place. Don't neglect your food intake, it'll have an effect on the fat content of your milk as well as the quality - and most importantly an effect on your mood. Look after yourself :grouphug:

    Tia, that was lovely.

But we can all give you advice all day but when it comes down to it, you will find a way to get through it yourself, we all do because we are Mums and thats what we do. Mums are amazing.

    :T:T:T

Skinty - if you are not eating properly then your milk will be of a lesser quality - you need to feed you up to feed your daughter. You may find that increasing your calorie intake decreases Lilia's feeding frequency - the baby needs good, creamy milk.

Edit - SS beat me to it - and said it much more eloquently.

I remember them saying something about a 1/100,000 chance of a problem with the scar in future pregnancies, but I don't remember them saying how long to wait before the next one.

Was there a reason for the emergency? Like, is there a chance it would happen again, or was it just one of those things?

Mine was 'one of those things', and there was no reason to not go on and have a VBAC (or two :D) - but I did get a lot of extra tests/scans/care when I was pregnant with No.2. :D which was reassuring.

  • SS, I had a really bad emergency c section with Jas so had the planned section with Dylan so it was controlled and I knew what was happening. Apart from Dylan being sick, the whole experience was fantastic. I had complete knowledge of what was happening when, and got to hold Dylan as soon as he was born and was relaxed. One scary birth doesnt lead to another :)

I can email my HV, if that is an idea Skinty?

I keep meaning to talk to her, although to be honest I get the impression my problems are a bit out of her experience. Need to go back to GP. Medication has increased to a level that makes me sleepy but isn't helping. Think this counts as med resistant now. I thought it;d be 10th time lucky!
