    Just trying to keep up!

Mel Congratulations, really pleased for you! (although I do think you are mad, or maybe you have the patience of a saint, whichever you are a better person than me)

MFD we are still gummy here too, although she has a full set you can see through her gums none have actually broken through yet, i keep thinking one morning I'll get her up and she'll have got them all overnight.

I'm not saying this is right for all grumpy babies at night but it worked for us. i bought blocks so El could sleep on her side where she was happiest then that changed to her sleeping on her tummy from an early age. I obviously spoke to HV before doing this and she was all for it if it meant a calm baby and mummy.

carla, dont be worrying about it, we need happy news as well as problems !!

I have a big problem now, Jasmine has a temp of 103 and the hospital doc on call said that we are not to bring her in, just give her fluids, calpol, and get her temp down. I said Dylan had a bit of a temp too, but wasnt sure if it was his jabs or not, and she has told me to keep a close eye on both of them. I am guessing that we are not going to get a bedroom done this weekend, I may have 2 children with suspected swine flu !!

Don't be silly Carla, sleeping-through-children is an inspiration and an aspirational target for everyone else :p congratulations, and long may it continue! And mother and toddler halloween parties sound - scary but possibly fun :D

MFD, I hope you are in bed by now! :)

Bruno, should we tell our menfolk that if they do the dishes they will get more sex because we will feel less frustrated with them :D

Umm not sure which is worse  probably you should cuz partners not doing everything they sensibly can to support new mothers deserve to suffer. But not a good thing for relationships in general! ;) Would be better if the relevant OHs got short sharp shocks and were brought into touch with the real world and the stress their loved ones are under. Grumble.

Krystal, you let her sleep in my opinion. How old is Caitlyn? She's at the rolling-over-sometimes stage, surely? We let Elijah sleep around that age. He's preferred sleeping on his face ever since.

Ohhh MM good luck, I hope it's not swine flu or at least it goes well. Poor things.
