My amniotic fluid stopped replacing itself so I had to be induced, and I wasn't catheterised after the epidural so the pressure from my bladder onto the umbilical cord caused her heart to slow. The likelihood that it might be repeated is small, but the lack of amniotic fluid was the reason for the induction in the first place.
Edit: Thanks 3, MM and Weezl:grouphug:

Hi All
I'm back again
(((((hugs)))) to all in need. I don't have the time at the mo to keep up, my head is more in boxes than it is anywhere else at the mo. El and the dog are being tossed from pillar to post at the mo to let us get packed. We've started gettin some stuff into storage but my mum and dads next door neighbour is doing the big move on sat and we're paying him beer money!!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -

Thanks Elle.
Bummer! It'll be 9 months when I go back! Its pretty much the same job, but on the team run by the b1tch from hell! Hopefully it'll only be 3 months max - now can I bite my tongue and remain pleasant for 3 months?
happened to me 3 when i was coming back form mat leave with having katie...then i got pregnant with christopher, and now am due to go back to said hellh0le. with hells biggest b1tch as a manager. but on a brighter note for you - it is easier than you think to bite your tongue. My AM at the time when i went back was only new (been doing it 3 weeks before i came back) - i had previously been AM for almost 2 years. she didnt like it when i knew more than her. therefore started vicious runours about me, and telling lies about me to b1tch from hell!! Carla was not a hapy bunny!!! therefore i REALLY dont wanna go back to work.......:(yey for Christopher's in underpants
i wish....lol. id be well impressed if my Christopher started wearing underpamts!! hehe
but yay for all other christophers!!!! :T
Elle: my experience is that you will def need some kind of a routine, mine is simply that katie goes for a nap between 12.30 & 1.30, and has dinner around 5ish, and goes to bed between 7.30 and 8pm! so not set in stone, but just so that [STRIKE]she[/STRIKE] we stay focused: makes for sane-r mummies!!
mel: congratulations!!! im shocked too!!!!! hows the form!?
3onitsway: definitely not me syaing "me next!!" - dont scare me!!! lol (just remembered to go and pop my pill!!)
Feelie: Yay for teeth!!
MM: Christopher was a vampire today too ; babygro from Tesco by any chance!???
skinty: i whole-heartedly agree with everything mel said , but my little input of advice, from my own experience, would be if you feel like it, jjst to cry and cry and cry. after you have cried, if anything like me, you will feel a little better, and may be able to look at things a bit more ratinally than you are right now. husg all the same. xx
mel: im with you on the dummy front. i think i wuld be in a mental hosptial now if my 2 didint take a dummy. even after they werre both fed (bottle), they wiuld still chow down and suck hard on their dummy : many ppl tried to tell me my babies were hungry, which i knew they were not. just their comforter to get them over to sleep, and it immediately pops out when they are in a deep sleep. i dread to think what i would have done if they had been breastfed longer than a week each!!!
tia: i love that one line: "Mums are amazing." = we are, arent we!!!
We had a fantasticday in chez magee!!Started off with mothers n toddlers halloween party. Katie looked beautiful as a fairy, and Christopher as a scary vampire!! hehe. (uploading pix to facebook after this post!
) Visited great granny for a while, quick nosey in tesco, thne to mums, home to a lovely dinner bubbling in SC, playtime with Katie and then bedtme at 8 for both children!!
Ive been putting off telling you guys for a while incase i jinx things...but.....so far (past week) Christopher has been sleeping through the night!! Usually 8.30/9pm until 8am!!! :T (I bet i have now set myself up for a geat big fall!!! )Carla-Farla!!
