Not a good enough one I suspect! We do try, but he's an unpredictable little fellow!
He seemed much improved today, bit clingy and fragile still but no fever, and diarrhea way better/almost gone. So hopefully all over, fingers crossed.
Angel, sorry sleep is still being a big bugbearit can't last forever. It really does drain you and make everything harder while it's going on, though. Don't downplay the effects on you, being superwoman while exhausted 24/7 is not a good plan! Good luck.
hi bruno :hello:
glad to hear E is on the mend.
as for the sleep, i have been saying ot myself that LO may not be a good sleeper until at least 12 months or so. it doesn't mean tha ti am not trying to get her to be, becuase i am, but just trying to take the pressure off myself somehow as i see myself as such a failure that i can't get her to sleep well (for her sake).0 -
Tia - huge decisions but it must feel good to be moving forward!! Hope it all goes well.
Tara - Yay for Erin! Is she too young for 2012??
AF - hugs for cheeky non-sleepy baby.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Then when I spoke to her last night she said her husband said he didn't want her working after 5pm and that she would try and speak to him again...then when I called back today she said her husband said no.
So I am guessing that it is a good thing. I am not sure I want Benjamin being in an environment where the man clearly rules the roost (I can't imagine he is back by 5pm??) and I certainly wouldn't want him somewhere where he isn't welcome.
I do have other options for a few weeks temporary care so I am not at panic stations yet.
I thought (naively) that childminders would work until at least 6pm, to give people time to finish work and get to them (that is if the parents finish at 5pm.
LIke you say, maybe not the environment you want Benjamin in

MFD: that is pants of her! My CM's hubby was really nice, When OH was in hospital in Glasgow they offered to have Chris overnight when I rushed up to be with him.0 -
Well she's asleep (I think!) She has insisted I leave her bedroom door open though as it's too dark otherwise, she has never had a problem with "darkness" before? Should I invest in a nightlight? Do you get battery ones, don't fancy leaving something plugging in her wall overnight, for safety reasons.0
