Harley, johnsons pads are pretty cheap in tesco/asda and 1 pair will do me a full day (though I am past the major leaking stage). Plus, they are non itchy :rotfl: It's still cheaper than formula (though I use formula too but less than I would if I were not BF too).0

Not a good enough one I suspect! We do try, but he's an unpredictable little fellow!
He seemed much improved today, bit clingy and fragile still but no fever, and diarrhea way better/almost gone. So hopefully all over, fingers crossed.I think the cream can be used on ur nips, maybe read the leaflet to see if it mentions it if you do have some.
(*I am pretty sure that she does have nips! Even I have some I can find without reading a leaflet! Shhh! *)
Tigs, awesome news, keep it up, your determination is really inspiring and I love hearing about the little successes!
MFD, what a huge frustrationgood luck with rapid hunting, and is the CM really utterly adamant about 5pm end...? I agree, that's so weird, who does she cater for?? Funny old world
Angel, sorry sleep is still being a big bugbearit can't last forever. It really does drain you and make everything harder while it's going on, though. Don't downplay the effects on you, being superwoman while exhausted 24/7 is not a good plan! Good luck.

We have Christopher's Meeting (capital M) on Friday at 1.30pm to discuss stuff. The nursery are proposing that he should get funding for an AM session there and then go over to the speech and language nursery for the PM session, which would mean I drop him off at nursery at 9am and he is taken by taxi to the SAL nursery at 1pm and probably brought home by taxi at 3pm (I can't collect him and DS1 at the same time). If the council won't find the AM nursery then the manager is going to apporach the college (its the college nursery) for funding! :j Then we will talk about primary school. I am so nervous and just a bit stressed at the huge decisions that are coming up.0

The really frustrating thing is that she said that she didn't work after 5pm when I first called, then said that she would be able to do it and that I should go see her. Then when I spoke to her last night she said her husband said he didn't want her working after 5pm and that she would try and speak to him again...then when I called back today she said her husband said no.
So I am guessing that it is a good thing. I am not sure I want Benjamin being in an environment where the man clearly rules the roost (I can't imagine he is back by 5pm??) and I certainly wouldn't want him somewhere where he isn't welcome.
I do have other options for a few weeks temporary care so I am not at panic stations yet.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
