I think Elle said you needed to earn £95/week between 25th October and 19th December but I have a feeling that for SMP it needs to be with one employer so maybe would be Maternity Allowance rather than SMP? The only difference between the two in terms of what you get is that with SMP you get 90% pay for the first six weeks if that is higher than the regular amount. (I'm just going on memory though from when I applied for MA due to being self employed.)
Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.

Thanks susan, I probably wasn't giving enough info, I sometimes feel a bit nervous sharing lots of detail online :):o I would be earning £120 per week for those weeks. HTH elle with research...

I was going to make jam today but I forgot. I did get my SUMA order though so I now have sultanas, polenta, lentils, coconut oil, flour, teabags and coconut chips galore.

  • Weezl, you can tell them about the pg now... But it shouldn't make any difference to whether they offer you the position or not... If they withdrew the offer because of your pregnancy then it would be discrimination... So it doesn't matter if you don't tell them... You have until week 25 ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
