NMS - ah just a little bit smaller than Jack. Was Liam born at 37 weeks as well? Jack has already put on 2lbs 6oz - did you give Feelie his birth weights for the chart she did?

Liam was 8 days early, so 38 +6. I haven't got round to that yet, that would require me getting up to get his red book.0 -

Glam - I don't know whether this would help at all but in Januarys when my OH is working at home (he's a gardener so does all the admin/planning etc. then), I usually do a rough daily plan with time which OH has set aside for work and time which he will spend with Alice etc. because otherwise with us all being at home, everything just takes ages and he ends up not having the time he needs for work and neither of us get much done. Don't know how you (or your OH) would feel about it but mine finds it useful because it means he knows what will be expected and he knows that there are certain times which are set aside when I won't disturb him and he can get on with what he eneds to get done.
Caz, if you were a rubbish mum then surely there would be problems with the other children too. Sometimes children behave differently with different people too. Hopefully if the HV continues with home visits she'll get a better picture of what he is usually like.

hello yorky!!
:eek::eek::eek: @ the knife weilding maniac nicki!!!!!! glad you're ok
well......
i have found a lovely childminder :T:T
the one i spoke of earlier was rubbish, her daughter is a VERY clingy 3yo who spent the hour i was there clambering over her mum cuddling up on her lap. house wasnt spotless but wasnt vile, but one thing i did note was that although there was a stairgate to the kitchen, it wasnt closed once! and the kids were eating pre-cooked cocktail sausages and quavers
she didnt offer to take seth and i didnt offer him, so by the time we left she hadnt even touched him!! i laid him down on the floor to play and she handed him a couple of toys, that was about it really. didnt seem at all professional. lovely lady, and only wanted £2.50ph.
the second one i went to see, i rang on my way out of the door as an afterthought cos i knew she was on the way and i asked if i could call in on my way back. she had no kids today as all she does atm on a friday is the school run/after school, so seth would be one to one on a friday for the time being :T
i had barely walked in before she undid the straps and took him out the buggy and marched off with him to show him the house :T
she is also a animal rescuer and half her garden is sectioned off with hutches and runs for guinea pigs and rabbits, she has 20 odd of each, and 3 cats and 2 dogs, which is a huge plus for me cos we are all so nutty about animals that we want seth to be brought up around as many as possible :T
then she went through all her certificates with me, she has loads! the first one didnt show me anyshe is also qualified in early years, so when seth turns the age for it he can have his free hours there.
her husband also works with her but mainly for the school runs, so he will have two CM's looking after him sometimes!
she also keeps diaries of the children for the parents, and makes little photobooks for the parents too :T
but..... she is £35 per day, which is over £5 more than i was expecting to pay :undecided so the money situation will be even worse... i dont think i can even contemplate sending him anywhere else though now i have seen her.
the money WILL be found from somewhere
i have babbled on, but i am SO pleased, i actually feel positive about going back to work nowMummy to

thanks! she just kind of made out that as the older 3 were so calm and settled that it was more of a shock that he behaves like this? i dont think she actually realises that we dont know anyone with a child that acts like this? abd to me its not normal. OH will be home with the bigger 2 soon and i will be able to talk it through with him, just not quite sure where to go from here.
im thinking about making the rice pudding but in the oven as i cant wait that long on the SC making it lol!!!might cheer me up!
What's for you won't go past you0 -
susan - Alice is so cute! Love the one where she is checking in the book!
Yeah I think we are going to do that - so that he has 'his' time and I won't disturb him, I get 'me' time and he gets plenty of 'him & Jack' time. I get lots of 'me and Jack' time already!
Bless him, he woke for a feed and has gone straight back to sleep in his carrycot - I have lots of background on so that might help. Normally it's a bit quiet in the house during the day but Daddy is out so Mummy has her music on as well as the WM & TD.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
