It's difficult to know what to do in that situation isn't it Mfd... You feel like you can't go back to sleep while they're still awake but if they're not crying...
Just went back to bed with Caitlyn... Just dropped off to sleep... And the postman came... I've been sent some shampoo to test (not bizziebaby) it says to use in place of my normal one for 21 days and don't use conditioner... Think I might wait a week first though... Don't want to be in London on my birthday with frizzy hair :eek:A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Morning all..
Just had the most frustrating conversation with one of the script monkeys on the child tax credit helpline. Do you have to have been labotomised to work there???!
Seeing as I'm not going to get any tax credits towards childcare I've switched child care vouchers back on at work, so (I think) that should make about £50 a month differenceIf my situation hasn't changed by the time the new tax year starts up, we will be better off with tax credits again, but not until then. It is all very confusing!
I was hoping for a nap this morning, but Izzy doesn't seem to want one at the mo, so I'd best go get some things done now, and then hopefuly I can nap later onIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

And I still aint got my 125k on bejewelled:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Grr  to unhelpful OHs. Gaz is actually too good at time and makes me feel bad when he gets up at 6 on a Sunday with Liam to let me have a lie in and then does most of the house work, but in return he still gets to go kickboxing twice a week. It's all about balance. Oh, and he always tries to feed Liam once a day for a bit of daddy and son bondingI know you kinda didnt want Ikea stuff but bought this one for Henrys room and is was a) easy to out together as OH is not DIY orientated and b) very sturdy

We have this in our bedroom, it's done one house move and it still going strong - which is great for flat pack furniture - and think it's fab .
Stopping the dreamfeed worked a treat last night. Liam went feed at 7:30, wash, creamed and get ready for bed for 8:30, Slept through till 4am, feed and went straight back to sleep till 7:30. Blocks of sleep are far better than up and down looking for dummy
Must dash, off to get Liam weighed0 -
i think i am so lucky with my OH
he does at least his fair share of nappies and feeds when he is about, and baths and puts seth to bed every night
i honestly dont know what i would have done without him, sometimes if its a bad day i find myself clock watching waiting for him to come home and take over, but i get into such a grump by this point that if he doesnt drop everything the second he gets in i take it out on him all evening. i think i dont deserve him sometimes
we are going to meet a potential childminder when seth wakes up  she seemed lovely on the phone, very chatty, but has 3 children of her own and only one other child at the moment :undecided she did say the reason for this was that she has only recently come back to childminding because her husband was working nights and needed peace in the house, so she got a job for a while, and that 2 of the 3 children are at school. i guess pretty much all childminders are going to have their own children around so i'm going to need to not be so picky!!Mummy to

morning all
Usually at 5.30 when DH gets back he sings to fergus for an hour to get him to eat puree (don't ask- it's just a phase, just a phase, just a phase.....)
edit: hello MFDLoves ya!
Oh Weez - when did we ever become so distant? I never seem to catch you these days! I still love you though
What's going on with Fergie and his purees? (you should know better than to tell me not to ask!!!)Krystaltips wrote: »It's difficult to know what to do in that situation isn't it Mfd... You feel like you can't go back to sleep while they're still awake but if they're not crying...
I would happily go back to sleep, he is safe enough in his cot - but his constant chat to his toys keeps me awake!!!
I missed if you said anything about MM...was there new material or was it stuff you have seen before? We saw him when I was pregnant at the civic (front row!! I am such a good ticket buyer!!) which was one of the reasons that we weren't so upset about not going. Can't believe he has gone from the Civic to the NIA in 12 months!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I haven't seen any with their own kids at home em - school kids, but none at home. You need to ask questions about how her child reacts to having other kids in their home, playing with their toys and how she ensures that all kids are treated fairly (how could you not favour your own?)
Good luck! It is nerve-wracking isn't it! Such a big decision.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
My Mum never favoured me
That said, I was about 7 when she started childminding, and she always looked after pre-school children, so obviously thier needs were much more immediate than me wanting a sandwich! I think if the children are younger, it is a positive thing. I loved having 'siblings' to play with. My Brother was a bit older than me, and would sometimes do evening babysitting for some of the kids my Mum looked after!

there you go being a wise woman again
apart from anything, i rang 7 childminders yesterday and this was the only one that can take seth with the hours i work - i will be doing 9.30-6pm and when i said i would be picking up at about 6.10-6.15pm they all said no as 6pm was their limit and they prefer them to be picked up closer to 5.30!!
nothing is ever easy is it?!
ETA!!!!
MIL and FIL have another puppy! already!! his name is toby
i am SO excited about going to meet him when OH finishes work!!!!!!!Mummy to
