I've ony had one too, food pots, handy as I needed to buy some but I only would have spent 60p so I don't really feel like I've got my moneys worth so far!

    Morning all..

Bad night here compared to th last few. I think we might have got Rhys' feed pattern out of kilter (not helped by OH giving him half feeds randomly thoughout the evening ) so he woke up 40mins after I got to sleep which was not all that welcome. Won't go into it but ended up having a mini sob on OH's shoulder at 3am this morning :( Then Rhys woke at his usual half six so we've been up since then. Hoping to get another few hours on the sofa this morning :o

Really looking forward to tonight - we're (finally!) on OH's weekend off again so he can do the middle of the night feed for me :D:o

Ugh Keely :( we had massive neighbour problems, involving multiple council visits, collecting photographic evidence, eventually giving a sworn statement and etc... but even then in the end we decided to move because of them.
It is the most frustrating thing, and all I can say is to not pull your punches or feel guilty at all when making a complaint. The council will have noise complaints, hygiene complaints, anti-social behaviour complaints units probably, depending what your problem is. If the neighbours are council tenants there is also an estate manager who will be their "landlord" and should take action.... Good luck!

We don't live in council flats, we own ours-they rent theirs (privately it seems as no one can get hold of the owner).
I ended up contacting the police again, who have contacted environmental health for us to explain how bad it's getting and not to fob us off. They also want to get hold of the owner, so are doing some digging for us.
Still writing a diary on what's happening and when etc. And everything has been logged.

I hope we get this sorted out, right now is a crap time to try and sell up-besides we haven't got enough savings for a deposit on a new place so we'd have to rent or go back to parents (both i don't want to do really not with elliot).

On a positive note, Elliot slept through because of not sleeping in the day yesterday-he was worn out! And mommy is now only 1lb over her target weight :o

Flipping 5 year olds... I've turned the TV off because it seems to hypnotise her into not getting dressed, now Caitlyn's complaining because she was watching it too and Aimee is mouthing off at me  I'll be going to school and leaving them both here at this rate...

Oh, and Hubby doesn't get a say in doing things for Caitlyn, when he's here, he gets her... Not just to give me a break but also because I think it's important he doesn't miss out on quality time with her....
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I have to get this stuff ordered soon, Its her birthday in 5 weeks and she is staying at my mums house for a holiday :rotfl: for the weekend and we are doing her room up as a surprise :j I love the idea of it, but am a bit worried she will hate it !!

I got Liv's from Homebase I think - special offer package of wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinet......but a while ago. (But looking on the Homebase website, it seems to be the same as Argos now )

I know what you mean about doinig the room as a suprise. I considered doing it this week while she's away with the school - but she's so picky and 'cool', and i'm so 'not cool', i'd obviously do it wrong and she'd come back and tell me its 'gay'!

Its been so quiet without her here! And I love not having to get dressed for the school run. :o
She's back this afternoon, probably filthy dirty and cranky!

I'm loving my SC. We had chicken dopiaza on Wednesday, and a lovely SC scouse yesterday-although Mum came for tea and complained there wasn't enough salt in it! That'll be because I didn't put salt in it because Violet would have some. Chilli tonight I think.

Can anyone recommend a good SC recipie book to inspire me?

Violet is driving me insane! Now she can pull herself up to standing, she doesn't want to sit anymore. So she'll pull her self up and stand on wobbly legs, fall on her bum, cry, pull her self up again and so on!
It was so much easier when she could be put somewhere and couldn't escape.

Not had time to catch up yet, just caught 3's post.

3 i bought one the other week just called slowcook, published by pr books ltd. I bought it in Borders and it was only £2.99. I like it cause its not just full of casseroles etc as most seem to be. It maybe only had 50 or so recepies but i like it. HTH x

  • 3 I agree about it being easier when they couldn't move! Benjamin moves so quickly these days and as soon as he stands up holding your hands he wants to be walking

Hope Liv had a lovely time!

Glam - at your hubby! Mine doesn't get a choice. When he comes home he gets his baby time - daddy needs cuddles too.

After I said the other day that Benjamin was sleeping through he was woke at 3.xxam for the last 2 nights  and last night he wanted to stay awake talking to himself for an hour...even after I had fed him. I know it is better than crying and he went back into his cot (in his own room) when he had finished feeding but I am still shattered!

Keely - HUGS hun. Don't know what to say other than don't feel bad for making complaints, you deserve to live in your own house without disturbance from others.

Elle - hugs chick. Hope a good old cry did you some good :D

    morning all :)

    Hugs for keely:grouphug:

mm I love the idea of the surprise new bedroom for Jas :T

poor tired elle. So glad craig is around this weekend to give you a break :)

I agree with elle and bruno, my DH's attitude is that we both do our jobs in the day: me-fergussing and him teaching and researching, so when he comes back we both do stuff on the house and for Fergus. I think I kinda take this for granted a bit :o.

Usually at 5.30 when DH gets back he sings to fergus for an hour to get him to eat puree (don't ask- it's just a phase, just a phase, just a phase.....)

while I go online and do our monies, accounts, mortgage, pay bills etc, or plan a big batch cook
or chat to you lot :D.

It makes me feel more human anyway.

I have more to say, but a little boy is waking from a nap! Back at noonish after mum and baby coffee morning :)

edit: hello MFD :) Loves ya!

anyone wanna find me cheap white furniture for Jasmines room? I have a bed and wardrobe is built in, so need a bedside cabinet and a set of drawers, and if they are cheap enough a desk as well :)

I know you kinda didnt want Ikea stuff but bought this one for Henrys room and is was a) easy to out together as OH is not DIY orientated and b) very sturdy
