Just me I think..
I've got Rhys asleep on my chest so he didn't disturb OH. Now he's zonked out and I'm getting crushed! Going to see if I can move him to his crib asleep..
Night night xx0 -
She then emailed back to say 'The straps are made from 100% cotton so might be a bit stiffer than the Joey you tried at the Sling meet. It will take a bit of wearing in but its still comfy'
Just wondered what your straps are made ofI thought it was the same type of sling just reduced! Will have to get lots of use out of it to un-stiffen them!
Essentially slings get softer the more they're used (/washed/ironed) It'll still be cotton just worn in cotton in mine so softer :-) Although I have played with a brand new joey and it was still qauite soft and squidgy and lovely :-)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
I need a hug... think i'm going to have to move out and stay with my parents.
Can't see a way out with my on going neighboujr problems. No one is taking it seriously. Apparently if you live in a flat-you have to put up with any crap that is thrown at you.
Ugh Keelywe had massive neighbour problems, involving multiple council visits, collecting photographic evidence, eventually giving a sworn statement and etc... but even then in the end we decided to move because of them.
It is the most frustrating thing, and all I can say is to not pull your punches or feel guilty at all when making a complaint. The council will have noise complaints, hygiene complaints, anti-social behaviour complaints units probably, depending what your problem is. If the neighbours are council tenants there is also an estate manager who will be their "landlord" and should take action.... Good luck!me three
sugar - i too need to rant about OH
he sat on his a r s e doing ebay stuff & watched me struggling to feed Jack & brown the mince, he woke just as I put it on
he wouldn't feed Jack or brown the mince cos 'I was gonna go to bed earlier so you would have been on your own anyway'
I then had to transfer everything into SC, put it on, wash bottles, sterilise them & make them up - all one handed. I know that if he was working I'd be on my own but jeez,, he had Jack for 20mins while I had a shower then moaned he 'needed to do weights' so I couldnt dry my hair.
Now need to wash it again in the morning so I can style it b4 I go to my friends, whats the betting he moans about the hairdryer
annoyed cos I do everything for Jack (he's changed 1 nappy but lies & says he's done loads) get minimal sleep, do housework, all the cooking etc & he moans he's tired after 9hrs sleep!
roll on the day he gets a job
as u were ....................................
Omg Glam  as I was reading that I was thinking what a terrible attitude, then I got to the end and you reminded me that he's not working at the moment. He should be doing better and helping you more than you describe, even if he was working full-time. I just find that so unacceptablesorry, don't spose that makes things any better
Maybe worth a chat about how actually you're struggling to cope and physically not back to your best and etc? I don't know if any of that's truebut if you make it into a "only you can save me" conversation instead of a "you suck".... ?
*hugs* Glam and Sugar..
I was going to say "I'm lucky" that OH does a lot for Rhys when he's here, but I only think I'm lucky compared to you cos I really do think Dad's should do their fair share.. Grrr..
I txt OH during the day with things like "Daddy, Mummy says I'm being a pest.." so he knows what sort of day I've hadI do txt him about the good and funny things too! Yesterday, it was "Daddy, I don't like soup" - I put the tiniest bit of my veg soup on my little finger and dabbed it on Rhys' tongue and he pulled such a funny face and wouldn't put his tongue back in his mouth so I had to wipe it off with a muslin :rotfl:
Too bloody right. And yes, we do similar Elle, by email. Well said. Grah. It doesn't sound like you're really struggling or anything Glam, but it just gets my goat so sorry!0
