I've got about 8 days worth, so if something happened to me, he could still have EBM until alternate arrangements were made. 4 litres is in 100ml containers, but the rest is in icecubes, so will be used for cereals, or in any cooking for LO that contains milk.
I also read that it isn't uncommon to become unresponsive to the pump as time goes on, so I'm making the most of being able to build a stash.
My main goal is for him to only have breastmilk until 6 months, so I think I'll feel a bit more comfortable when I've got enought EBM to get us there (8 days!).
I want LO to have a small amount of EBM in his diet until he is two.
With the greatest respect Feely because I think you are doing brilliantly...do you have any concerns that the expression is becoming a little addictive? A kind of obsession that you can control but live in fear of not being able to control forever IYSWIM.
Please feel free to ignore me or tell me to mind my own business, I won't be offended (as long as you are nice about it!!!)
Benjamin has learnt to dance :T:Tplease listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Am I allowed a small 'bragging moment?' My little girl has been toddling around using her push along! All without me! I'm so proud and a bit scared that she's growing up so fast all at the same time! She's almost 8 months and I didn't think she'd quite be at this stage by now. All she wants to do is be on her feet scooting around with me or her push along although she hasn't worked out how to go sideways around the furniture - yet!!!
Yay! :j

Morning folks! Keira is still asleep  She must be tired, after nursery yesterday I took her to the park and we were there for 2 1/2 hours, she then came home and said "Im hungry, wheres my dinner" That's shocking, she never asks for food! We made those quesidillas and I offered her that and she said no, she gave her fish fingers, peas and noodles, and she ate the whole lot, and then ate half a punnet of grapes, and before bed said "I'm hungry, wheres my dinner?" LoL, gave her some toast.
Gonna wake her in a sec though. I'm going to lunch with my mum after I drop Keira at nursery and then tonight when OH gets home, going to have to go into town to try and find a top to wear to that party tomorrow night, could wear that dress I wore to the celidah but knowing that group of people that would be too dressy!0 -
Hope Ed & Benjamin are feeling better now.
Anyone know anything about carpets? Living room is a work in progress but getting there and I want carpet instead of the laminate we already have. How do you choose one for 2 children and a dog?

Toby likes to stand on my lap and swing his hips while I sing to him!
I only pump once a day usually. I want to keep my supply stimulated, especially while LO is so distractable.
As you might have guessed, I do tend to get hooked on things!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
go for a brown or grey one that has lots of different tones in it, any staina shouldn't be too obvious then;)SeptemberBaby wrote: »Hope Ed & Benjamin are feeling better now.

SB i *think* berber carpet is supposed to be the most hard wearing as the pile isnt cut IYSWIM, its like loops? thats what we've had in both of our rented places and it still looked as good as new in the place we moved out of, its been in our current house for 2-3 years and still looks good as new here too. which is nothing short of a miracle cos its cream!! the kitchen has older carpet and we've absolutely battered that and not just in the food prep area, it looks minging next to the other one which we've treated no differently

but the carpet people will know more if you ask them!Mummy to
