  • Ta all - I will try some wheetabix next time I go in :)

And hugs for you r.mac. How disapointing :( Have you looked at your local leisure centre if there is yoga or anything relaxing you could do for a bit of "me" time? There might even be a creche!

And you are definitely allowed to brag!

sympathy sami poor little ed ....... he showing any signs of getting better x
he seams pretty fine now, just a touch snuffley I don't know what made him wake so much apart from the wind/sick episode:confused:
I'm also getting p'd off that Chris is now getting in with me every night, it used to be around once a week. I'm hoping it's because Matt is away so will stop when he's back
I was told by a surestart worker the other day that you can become a health visitor with a nursery nurse qualification now... Might be worth looking into...
    ...
I had one like that... Gave it to my Mum in the end because it took too much space up on my work surface and very rarely got used... I prefer my hand blender and electric whisk...
oh Thanks! I won't be doing any training/work for another 2-3yrs yet(out of choice and necessity of childcare costs) but I shall keep it in mind :D I really want to be a HV now, I was quite interested after having Chris and since knowing everyone here(ie offering the help and hearing of poop one) plus being told I can't do it has made me really want to. I think the woman we saw for Chris's 2.5yr check was a NN and I wouldn't mind doing that for 2yrs first.

eta I'm justifying the processor by thinking I can get rid of my many gadgets that do all the things individually ;)

About EBM - I read up to 12 months in a proper freezer, but I go by the 'if it tastes alright' its fine. This weekend, I had to take 4 litres to my Mums as I ran out of space. I've got about 7 litres in total, and get about 150-300ml a day, when I pump. I'm scared of running out though.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

sami, you dont need to justify the food processer, Chris uses ours on a daily basis, well worth it !!

    I am so tired :(
Dylan has decided that the Gaviscon doesnt work and has been throwing up all night and most of this mornings bottle is now over me, the sofa and the floor !!
Have left a message for the HV to give me a ring and see what we do.

Hope you all have a nice day :)

Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
  • Oh - another question. Since I've been back at work i've done nothing but ask people questions... including one "do we still do this" question, which resulted in the answer of "no", when on further investigation it should have been "yes", so I have to go back and fix all the things that have been done wrong while I was away because no-one listened to me

Um yes. My question was this - now Izzy has a tooth I suppose I should start brushing it! What should I be using? Is there specific baby toothpaste/toothbrushes? I've not looked into this bit yet, so I'm completely clueless!
