i think i've got a bit addicted to ebay
in the last week i've bought seth 2 coats, a shirt and some jeans, i've sold 23 things and bought packing to send those too
i havent decided whether to relist the stuff that didnt sell or just step away, i didnt realise how addictive it was to log in and see how many watchers and totals and things!!0 -

Finally back from the hospital. Lots of faffing about, unsigned forms, stroppy docs refusing to sign them, then trip round a few different depts to see various people and pick up some more medication.
Got weighed and he's now 8lb 3oz, another gain of 5oz in a week
Found out they are going to attempt the MRI without a GA... They have no chance!! They want us to take him in when he's hungry (would have been anyway), then feed him and they're hoping he'll sleep after his bottle. He will, but he's easily startled and anyone who's had an MRI will know how noisy they are (and for those who haven't, it's like clanking machinery!) They'll try sedation before GA, but if he ends up with a GA, he'll be kept in overnight too
Friend I was supposed to see this afternoon has cancelled on meso more housework on the cards for me - assuming Rhys will sleep now as he hasn't had his usual sleep this morning.

Sami - You would be a fab HV - in fact you and MM are already like my own personal HV's
SM - have a lovely day with gay OH
well, the 6hr sleep was def a fluke! back to 4hrs - although went back to bed after 6am feed and then when he woke @ 9.45am he came for cuddles in bed with me for 30mins!!
4 weeks today - um, how fast has that gone?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Am I allowed a small 'bragging moment?' My little girl has been toddling around using her push along! All without me! I'm so proud and a bit scared that she's growing up so fast all at the same time! She's almost 8 months and I didn't think she'd quite be at this stage by now. All she wants to do is be on her feet scooting around with me or her push along although she hasn't worked out how to go sideways around the furniture - yet!!!
3 - working for that little doesn't seem worth it to me. If you want to stay at home that makes financial sense to me, but if you are looking for something to get you out of the house, it's also an option.
:T for babymac toddling! Ours is pulling herself up to stand now, but still on tippy toes so no steps yet. DD1 was walking at 9 months - so it shouldn't be long for you!
The £8.41 i'd be 'up' by staying back at work doesn't include the petrol (15 miles a day), and parking (£4.00 a day!).
I could park further away for free, but then thats cutting into my working hours which are going to be pretty tight after dropping DD1 at school and DD2 at nursery.
We worked it out by putting every possible scenario into entitledto Has anyone else any experience of entitledto?, and can it be trusted?
I think we've decided i'm going back on 23rd November, only doing 3 days a week, just until OH has started his new job (hopefully January). I only need to stay for however long it is - so I don't have to pay back any mat.pay.
Emlou - I normally relist once or twice. I've had stuff that had no watchers when they were originally listed, then have loads when they're relisted the following week!
I've slacked a bit with my ebay lately. I've got a little pile of DD1's stuff to list, and a shed full of DD2's. I was thinking of keeping hold of the summer stuff to list next spring - but listing the all-year-round stuff now.
SB Mum & Dad had a beige speckly shade of berber in the living room and hall stairs and landing for about 15 years, with me living at home, little sister through baby and toddler years and a dog! It was very hardwearing and easy to clean, and looked almost perfect after a hoover and the occasional shampoo. She only got rid because she was bored of it and wanted a change - I think she regrets it now, the new one shows up all the muck and was looking worn after only a few years!:beer:0 -

Yup, that's the one
They've said we'll be able to go into the scan room with him until he's settled (regardless of what he has - I don't think the GA is given until he gets in there), then we can go into the control room and watch.
We went as far as just outside the scan room last time then waited in the relatives waiting area as I was too upset and obviously they didn't want me sobbing all over their keyboards! (this was on Day 8 when he was still on a ventilator - I'm a bit more relaxed about it this time!) Still very noisy from where we were - noone told me what to expect so I was scared witless cos I didn't know what all the noises were0 -
what did they do last time, sedate him?
either way if he does have the GA, just remember that they do ops on brand new babies and they are absolutely fine, they are only doing the GA to sedate him not actually go inMummy to
