Carla; Chris doesn't always eat his meal but I'm not fussed as he gets it spaced out so the snacks he has in the day are meat, veg, fruit, cheese, carbs so he still get what he should IYSWIM? For me personally i'd rather he ate it than not because he' too stubborn for the meal or nothing option, don't know where he gets it from  I think it'll improve when he's at nursery/school when things are at set time (I hope!)
whomever asked about quidco ... It'll appear on the "your earnings" bit within a few hours usually0 -
Well, so much for going out... We're having pizza hut lol... I just feel too rotten to be getting dressed and going out... We've decided we'll go out next week instead... Although we're off to London for my birthday in a couple of weeks anyway... And hubby booked tickets to take Aimee to Disney Princesses on Ice for the weekend after that
(he said we'll take Caitlyn in the sling but I think I might see if my Mum will take her and then Aimee will get a little bit of just her time...)
I'm the same as you Mel, there's always a pudding to use as leverage when it comes to dinner eating... Anything from cake / rocky road / to a biscuit or tiptop works... And she knows if she doesn't eat dinner she doesn't get pudding...

I can't really comment on the nicey, nice approach to picky eaters....We have always been pretty strict and they eat what they are given...As Sami said, you pick your battles and our two things we will not be messed about with are eating and bed-times! The only other main house RULE is no fighting! Everything else is approached more gently;)
Mel x
as for the eating they either eat or do without, we dont really have the time to make lots of meals. i was also told(not sure how true it is?) that the bigger the family the less fussy they are as they dint have a choice lol! not that im saying for you all to have 5 kids to get the others to eat:rotfl:What's for you won't go past you0 -

Oh thank god. As long as one replaces it, it looks red underneath. Should I put a plaster over it once the nail falls off completely, or just leave it?
Feel so bad about this, and why has it just started coming off now? I jammed her finger weeks ago.0 -

Chunk of butter
Squeeze of golden syrup

I never mentioned nuts cos I don't like them, but you could put those in to if you like
Just back from the hospital. Just as the nurse clicked the heelpr1ck thing into Rhys' heel, all the pagers went off and there were two cardiac arrests at almost the same time - one on children's ward, one on adolesents
It was one of the senior nurses doing it - I told her to leave Rhys (as much as it pained me, but we could have always have used his other heel later) but she wouldn't
Thankfully Rhys was having a generous day and didn't take too long to bleed out as much as they needed and she could go sharpish! Rhys now has big wide eyes from being high on sucrose too  0
