i havent read back so i dont know what was going on, was she not very good then? i'll need to find a CM if i get the job i'm going for a interview for tomorrow cos the hours are like 4 or 5 a day over 4 or 5 days and the nurserys arent flexible enough, at least with a CM you pay them by the hour

Just a few things didn't 'feel' right when I collected the kids and she lied/played down big time how Kai had been while with her...also other little things like shouting at her own kids when we were collecting/extension leads being run from room to room/doors not locked when told they would be... She also had Kai asleep in the (tiny) kitchen, which is probably not the safest place to put a baby, while you are cooking!! She also had friends round chatting away to her in the kitchen/dining room I have no idea who they are and what is the point of having a crb checked CM if any tom/!!!!!!/harry is invited in all the time!

And upon airing my concerns to a friend (well not a close friend, just someone I know) I found out she had pulled her kids out a while back due to the older one being screamed at and blamed for things while in her care and the younger being completely distressed every time he had to go there!!

Of course it would have been flaming handy to have found all this out before hand but better late than never!

Good luck with the job interview:D

  • morning/afternoon everyone.
all those who are off being socialble IRL, i hope yiu have an excellent day!! Didnt catch up muchm just back a few pages....but i didnt open another window to comment, so cant really rmemeber what i wanted to say!!

however, i do remember that possibly, scruffy asked about a 2year old birthday present ideas!?im havin same problem for Katies birtjday at end of November!
I have some ideas, and a couple things bought already, i just dont know what to give her for bday and what to keep for christmas!!
    Heres my list:
An easel (already bought paint, roll of paper, paintbrushes etc)
    A bike
    Childrens laptop
    Wooden Blocks
    Cash Register (already bought)
    Trolley & Fake food items

after that, i have no clue!! She has the other things that she plays with in mother n toddlers. (due to beng spoilt rotten last year!!!)

I am a bit concerned with her at the minute. She is a good enough eater, but getting fussier and fussier everyday. she wont try things that she doesnt know what they are, and is refusing dinner more n more often. it really frustrates me. for example, yesterday, we were out at mums and then the park, and i knew she should be hungry when we got home, so i amde a chicken dinner and gave katie exactly same as us - chicken, peas, roast potatoes and gravy. she would not even put it to her lips!!! i KNOW she likes everything that was on her plate.
OH suggested that she eats a lot in the morning/afternoon, and maybe she just doesnt get overily hungry in the evening. so i was considering swapping dinner for lunch, and lunch for dinner, IYKWIM??
For example, She slept until approx 10am this morn, so when we got up, she had some cereal, and ate it all. then she had 2 small yoghurts, then 2 sausages, and its only 12.20!!!
anynoe any similar experience or advice!!??
    Carla-Farla!! :)

*rolls back out of bed* :o

Gave Rhys to OH (who was lying awake in bed), while I sorted his bottle but when I came back, he'd rolled over and fallen asleep. Obviously not completely asleep as everytime I mentioned smiling, he did this..

    hope this works! glitterfy-flpbk2706312796823134.gif

Carla Chris is similar, I have no tips though I just try to make sure I give him a variety of things throughout the day.
He often eats cereal for breakfast then 30mins latter wants something else and just sort of grazes all day. If I don't let him eat snacks he just gets grumpy so I'd rather he ate bits here n there than make him wait for a meal and him be a PITA
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
