love my pension - I pay 6% usually around £140 n work pay around 14%
Ooo well your pension beats my pension Glamthe NHS definitely have their good points! I pay 6%, work pay 9%; as a higher tax-payer it is still pertty powerful though, I think I get over £800 into the pension every month once employer contributions and tax relief are counted!
But I've only been paying in for a couple of years so I have a lot of ground to make up vs sensible people who started at 25 etc0 -
OK, I have £11.50 in clubcard points, what can I spend them on to get the best value? I've only ever used them on groceries. Any ideas?0

I'm pretty sure OH has CI and various other policies, so we'd be okay if he passed. Finacually anyway, but who'd get rid of spiders?!
We don't have anything in writing about Toby, or wills. Do we need to? Everyone agrees that my Mum will be gaurdian and can chose who is best placed to care for kids - her or my Brother.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Post has arrived..
MRI results letter has lots of big words in and a note to say he's being referred to paediatric neurosurgeons in Notts.. Going to Google big words in a while
DLA letter was the written confirmation of the news from the other day. Says the reason he won't get help with the mobility element is because he's under three (I knew that already, wasn't claiming/expecting that bit) and doesn't need any more care than a norma baby, but on the care element paperwork states he can't have it because he hadn't been a resident of the UK for 13weeks by the end of July.. No, cos he was 10 weeks old then! Grrr..0 -

All this talk about finances makes me more determined to sort ours out. I will be financially secure if anything should happen to oh but heres the problem we have - I own my house ( with only a small mortgage) and have life insurance cover. I really need to sort out a will as technically OH would be homeless as the house would be left to the girls! I have no idea what would happen to my pension
Em - Oh has a son who is 18 who he hasnt seen since he was little due to his ex leaving him for someone else and said he has a new daddy now - he tried for years to see him but she made it so awkward he gave up in the end. his parents still see him when they take presents round but he thinks when he wants to know him he will come looking.
Sami - well done on the potty training:T
Mel - must have missed your post - congratulations x19.6.10 Weight loss 6lb0 -
If I died I know my boys would end up being split up which is sad, Aston would go to my mum and Ryry would go to his Dad.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0

Did I not mention? :rotfl:
Only kidding.I expect there will be another baby in future. I assumed I'd have 4-6, but I think two will be enough for me, don't think I could go through this again
Does anyone have any thoughts on sex selection? Not at the embryo stage, but the sperm washing type thing that just increases the chance? It isn't to expensive in Mexico lol.
